As Viper said - I have one. It's nice, but Yakima really nickel-and-dimes you with their products. They sell everything separately... The Q-towers, the Q-clips (part that is specific to your vehicle), cross bars, locking cores, and the faring. You'll probably be in it for $500 by the time you're all done. Then, if you want to buy the specific kayak or bicycle mounts that attach to the cross bars, guess what... Mo money.

I have the Thule system on mine and it works well but each piece is sold separately which can add up quick.
    Thule 480 Traverse Foot
Thule 1555 Traverse Foot fit kit
    Thule 58" Crossbars
All that added up to around $360. Also have the Thule Hullavator to haul my wifes Kayak.

I'm designing a new roof rack and bed rack system, We've had excellent feedback from our tubular Coachbuilder roof racks but will be offering a all new design later this year. Ill post updates as we get closer.

We're expanding our roof and bed rack offerings right now, working mostly on the bedracks for the trucks, and roof racks for 4runners. A Tundra roof rack is a possiblilty if theres enough demand. I usually do plate sides with cross tube and use factory mounting locations when possible. I dont think the Tundra has attachment points in the gutters unfortunately so drilling will be necessary

I haven't taken the strips up yet and haven't installed a roof rack before but I think I had read somewhere that it did...? I'm not opposed to doing some drilling tho

We are finishing up fixturing on our new Coachbuilder roof racks and will be able to update soon. First run will be for the crewmax followed by doublecab and then bed rack systems.

I was considering roof racks - or at least one then a hitch mounted rack like the Yakima drydock - to haul SUP boards. This being something I would not leave on all year, just during "SUP season", I thought also a bed mounted rack, similar to a headache rack, that could be installed with a tonneau, but easily taken back off might be better as I would avoid the chances of messing up the roof and could achieve more secure bearing points farther apart than just roof rack. SUP's aren't heavy, even if you put several stacked up. Anybody have anything like that? I could fab something up, but I'd just as soon purchase and avoid the trouble. I have the Ruggedcover from Toyota now and kinda like it for several reasons. I think you could install it over some kind of bed rail mounted rack since it sits on top of the bed rail and not down in inside the bed.

On the other hand, I might get a camper shell with racks and this will all be an academic discussion....

That one will work if you aren't hauling a tall trailer, unless it was a small 6'er. Otherwise it would be too far back.

I'll be adding a Thule to the roof, so I can haul a 16' canoe over the cab/hood/bed (centered and tied down front and back) as well has tow a trailer.

I took some things off but my time is more valuable than trying to take stuff off. Plus selling stuff to multiple people is a royal pain. I’m happy with my decision.
