No kidding. Five days of owning the truck after swearing to my wife this would stay stock, I've got two shopping carts full of stuff totaling almost $8k. Shoot me now...or my wife will. Who knows

I’ve done zero mods. But I think it came from the factory with something done. That’s part of the reason I’m joining this forum. Want to learn more about my truck.
Again..... Sh@t that’s a bad ass truck. Congrats.

    Did some DIY today
    - changed Airbag emblem...I also had a aftermarket steering wheel installed by dealer before I picked it up.
Also added AJT Design Black Vent Rings

    - dropped drivers seat by cutting out 1” from seat brackets. Drops the seat about 1.5” to about the same as a 19 Chev Silverado. Feels so much better

    - Added a Wireless phone charger to center console

No more interior chrome thanks to AJT Design.

That looks amazing. Nice job. How hard was that 4wd shifter to do?

It was not that hard. I removed the bottom USB panel, then the Climate Control panel. You can reach one clip but I drilled a hole to get a screwdriver in to do the other clip, then it just pops out and change the ring...really very easy.

That and the climate knob swap looks kinda tough to me. Thanks for your input.

I want my dash to look exactly like that though, so I'm either going to get brave or find someone to help me.

If you watch the AJT videos as you do each swap it’s not that bad...I just paused the videos as I was doing each step and had to rewind them a few times. But all a very doable.

After watching the videos, I have a question before I get started. In the video they are notating the climate knob position relative to the Line on the front of the knob that faces “up”. But on my truck (2020 pro) the climates knobs don’t have any distinguishing lines for being in the “up” position. So...what did you do here? Did you use a marker on the back gears?

I just put them on and didn't worry about the orientation as like you said there are no marks, these knobs can just turn and it doesn't matter where the knob is orientated to when it is put on. Mine works just fine.

No problem. I have changed everything I can now with AJT...just waiting for the Radio control knobs for the 2020 to come out.

Yeah I considered waiting to do everything at once, but I’ll probably knock all these out since there’s no telling when the radio knobs will release.

Ya my timing sucked as I have had to order everything one or two pieces at a time as they came out...which really sucks being from Canada and getting charged $25 for shipping each time.

Did this DYI a little while ago forgot to add to this thread. It was very tedious to brush paint with the Dupilcolor Caliper paint kit...luckily for me my son-in-law is a very patient guy as it took him all day to do the 4 coats.

You mention in your signature that you have a driver seat drop bracket. Where'd you get that?

I cut and re-welded my seat brackets...I dropped my drivers seat by cutting out 1” from the seat brackets. Drops the seat about 1.5”

Oh, I see. Thanks! That's beyond my ability unless I can find a shop to help me out. Appreciate the info, I would love to do this to my truck. Seats are too high.
