I really and joy creating personalized pieces it very therapeutic, I wouldn’t mind trying to make some money doing it but it’s time consuming and it hard to get payed for your time everyone want it now and they want the price to be as cheap as possible. So for now I usual make things for gifts .

That's absolutely gorgeous. One day when funds allow, I'd love to have a high quality damascus kitchen knife.

so, this one is from a leaf spring off a trailer. My first time adding a bolster, my first time trying decorative file work, several other firsts... hell of a learning curve

Messed it up, stained then sanded it, the details were too fine and sanding it ruined it. Since learned I've should used a v-bit for that much detail, gonna do another. Most of what I've finished has been gifts for friends.

Wow! Just found this thread, awesome work in here, very inspirational! Here is some of my latest work. The portraits are for colleagues, the flower was done in acrylic for the wife and the Church of Gronk is a replica done for a nephew for Christmas. I’m thinking he’s gifting it to his wife who came from Boston. It was done in watercolor. Ha ! In my dreams !
This would be the work of my brother-in-law ~ something he works on in his spare time now that he's retired.
I had no idea he was such an artist and craftsman.
