    So I was washing my, new to me truck today and noticed some leaves sticking out where the bottom of the front fender meets the rocker panel. No prob, right? I went and got my dental pick, because it is a small space and figure I will pull a couple leaves out. I easily pulled out 20 handfuls of rotted...rotting... and fresh leaves. If I had left that the it would have certainly started rotting the fender, in time. Check that area guys. Could be the difference between a nice truck in years to come, or a rust bucket. Here is a pic of the area after I cleaned it. My truck is a second gen so this happen in 6 years approx.IMG_0036.jpg

    If you open the driver side door or passenger door look in the doorjamb and there is a flap you can push in to clear out all the leaves.

    Second gen has the flap, at least the '13 does. Maybe the 2010 doesn't, but then maybe you should look harder. Hint....it pushes IN.

    There should be a black plastic flap right where that arrow is. My truck is garaged and only has 10k miles, mine were empty on each side, but many guys have yanked a lot of leaves from there.

    Clean it up real good and spray some protectant. Look into "Fluid film"
