Picked up one of these yesterday and installed it while out at the camper. Front seal and rails went on no problem. Putting the roll onto the bulkhead didn't go over well - had to push out the rails to snap the locks into place. Rolled it out to close and the length seemed too long as per pic 1. Have to force the first side snug than push out to be able to close the end and snap shut. Does close but annoying to do. Tailgate is not flush after shutting - possibly just to seal. Anyone have issues like this?

Where did you buy it? I wonder if they could help. I'm shopping for one myself.

A few more pics might be helpful of the cab portion of the bed. I have the cheaper version and had it also on a few Tacomas, and they took a bit to perfectly adjust the spacing and angles of the side rails. The Tundra one doesn't fit quite as good (more gaps) but a litle extra foam weather seal fixed it right up. I wonder if it is just tightened down a touch skeewompus.

Could it be the incorrect cover?

That's true too. Maybe wrong MY or bed size?

Overall I prefer the look of that fabric compared to other soft tonneaus. However, there seem to be some good alternatives for quite a bit less (Access Vanish, Tyger T1, and Gator ETX).

I had similar issues. Looks like your rails could slide a little more towards the front of the truck. I also had to trim down the pad in the back to kepep pressure off the tailgate. From looking at the pic your weather seal is shut in there as well, this takes up extra space. With this cover you seem to have to shut tailgate first and then close cover in top of it. Here are some pics from mine, hope this helps. 23CC6710-116C-4D08-B136-7E4777D3A342.jpg12BAD7E7-B3F4-4E1E-9ED9-5D3EAB747903.jpg

Seems like it would be more puncture resistant too. Not sure how it compares to the vinyl covers from a weather standpoint (water permeation).

Try closing the tailgate before latching the cover. The weatherstripping is folding under the cover rather than laying on top of the tailgate as it should.

just realized is doesn’t seem like the rail is tightened down to the bed either. Seems to be a big gap between the top of the bed side and the rail.

Ohh - the seal should flap over the top of the tailgate?

I took it to where I purchased it and they mentioned some covers come with shims. They just put some rubber to bring the rails up and it helped but not 100% that I would like. Overall - I'm enjoying it more as the days go by. Such a low profile compared to the Lo Pro. Those look like trash to me now every time I see one  sorry

Think so. I recall reading that in the install info.

I just went out and switched it - shut the tail gate first than snap the cover shut. I kind of liked the way I had it - it stopped the tail gate from rattling but that end of the tonneau cover was sitting a bit higher which I didn't like. I bought the tail gate seal so maybe I'll put that on and hopefully doesn't rattle.

I did take it in to where I purchased it and they shimmed it up so it wasn't sagging in. I guess that was the problem? I thought I had it slid forward all the way - but maybe this weekend I should go over it again. It seems to be holding up the way it is but I'll check it out.

Someone slid through the intersection where I park and hit the box and it had to be redone - I'm wondering if they just rigged the new box side on and left it out of spec. I'd have to measure mine than get measurements from a truck that hasn't been hit.

Sorry, to say - that could be your problem.

I have the same cover, and it fits perfectly. no sags, no interference. I have the rails shifted a bit further toward the cab than you do, and I close the cover first, then the tailgate.

    No rattles, no leaks.

Looking closer at your pics what's that aluminum colored L-shape bracket? That is not the hardware that came with mine.

I provided pictures of my install for reference and yes you are correct ihave the rails and I added an custom made aluminum L-bracket to stiffen it up. It shuts alot easier now. It used to flex quite a bit prior to adding this bracket.
