Keith at Dirtydeeds has them for $320 shipped, Keith 760-877-4234
I'll get one there. That way I'll have some CS. Hope they have the bugs worked out by now. Per the website they really change the power curve on the tundra + give xtra hp.

I have to say, I installed mine finally about a month or so back...my driving style I dont feel an increase in power (yet) BUT I have seen a pickup in MPG.

Driving style the same, driving profile and route the same, ambient conditions are similar, HVAC settings unchanged...etc

I will be keeping this thing installed, I am so far a happy customer. We shall see though what the future brings.

how much did your MPG's increase?

I have a 2012 tundra SR5 4.6. sitting on 275's. Before the 275's sitting on 255's I was getting about 16 in the city and 21 on the high way. now I am getting about 14 in the city and 15-16 on the highway(must of the time I am towing my 4 wheeler while on the highway)

Little history to this will help get a better idea,

While back when I first got the truck I was getting about 17-18 mpg... realized the tires were wearing like garbage. Pressures adjusted to allow proper tire wear, 14-15mpg.

Come to recently/present day I continued to maintain 14-15mpg average (always hand calculated for verification).

The last battery reset was maybe 4 months ago, average on the IP read 14.6mpg. Now coming back to when I installed the Hypertech - I did NOT perform a battery reset so my IP started at my nominal 14.6mpg. Present day, IP is reading 16.4mpg. It has over the period of time slowly risen to its current reading. I see the increase in MPG at ever fill up when calculating by hand. I also see myself driving a little longer between fueling. I was previously fueling at about 300 miles on the tank, I'm now fueling around 330ish.

I have read people say that once the ECM adjusts to the tuner, MPGs go back down. So time will tell if the increase I see will stay or go.

    No Sir,
Bought it used from a Gentleman that used it for 3 months. He installed it out of the box, never had it updated. I installed it as he sold it to me.

I have tow haul package, I have yet to tow though. Looking to be maybe a month or so before I will be towing anything. I have driven around town with Tow/Haul activated with no issues.

I have already done an "elevation change test". I did not receive a CEL during this, but I have not checked fault codes to see if anything had popped up in the background.

Usually dont make it a habit of checking without having a reason, but I guess this might be a reason to do so.

Easy, just hook up a scanner.

I guess ill work on this, take a quick peak and post up if anything registered in the background. Might take me a few days.

I still have it in my truck. I usually only get the cel light when towing, but have got it a couple times when pulling a grade.

Well I haven't removed it. I don't really see any big gains anywhere, but most gains hp/tq wise aren't going to be felt unless your adding a supercharger. Mpg I didn't see any change. I do recommend it as the cheapest way to go.

    405miles driven, fueled 24.2gal = 16.7mpg

I hauled a few hundred pounds for maybe 60 70 miles. Also did some "mudding" after the beautiful rain we got here in Arizona, still carrying half of it around on the underneath of the truck that I still need to wash off and in the wheel causing me to get a free massage on my way to work. Also there's maybe about half hour worth of isollated idle time in order to try to figure out an issue that was happening with the truck.

Forgot to mention the wife drove the truck for about a hundred miles... who knows what she did with it.

No, just a drop in AFE pro dry S.

Hypertech has updates for most aftermarket intakes. Most aftermarket are not true CAI as they draw air from under the hood. Factory setup is a true CAI.

I sold mine, didn't feel any gains after a while, and think the truck actually started driving better after I took it out. FWIW...

I have a drop in K and M filter right now and I saw a big difference when I changed out the factory for this. I gained acceleration and 2 mpgs.

I really am leaning on getting the hypertech. looks really simple to install

Bought my rig in Oct 16, HT was the first mod a week later. No issues. All stock, for now, with a K/N drop in. No lights. Fun to drive. Avg 17.3 mpg overall since the purchase. Just sayin'

Only update is I am happy so far with the unit. Finally got to get into the throttle a bit, accel was smooth and no warning lights on the dash. Not sure if it was like this before or not, but it seemed to hang at red line for a second before deciding to upshift.

Next is putting my "modded" airbox top section back on. I removed it to test the unit initially with nothing but the Hypertech itself. Then I popped in the AFE and drove around for a while and now is the last piece of putting the top section back on. The "modified" part is I remove the charcoal screen.
