Anyone know how to turn off the alarm chirp on newer trucks? I've found this kind of info for a forerunner, but can't seem to find it for Tundra's. Thanks in advance!

I believe it requires software that you could purchase for a couple hundred plus connectors to computer or have toyota do or

Or find the sound module and disconnect the wires.

The dealership can turn it off.

If you don't have/want the Techstream software, or don't want to have a dealer do it... in my `06 I found the little "squeaker" under the master cylinder and wrapped it with electrical tape- I couldn't hear the chirp unless I was standing right next to it. I haven't looked for it in `14 though, so I'm not sure if this is still do-able.

I bought my daughter an 01 4 runner, and disabling the alarm chirp was done through a sequence of key fob button pushes and ignition key positions, as strange as that sounds. That's why I thought maybe the same thing could be done on my Tundra.

I've looked into this but unfortunately the newer ones don't have this. Tried on my 07 Tacoma with no dice either.
