Hazy Hazy IPA | Sour IPA
7.5% ABV, N/A IBU

This is a fun beer to drink. It’s just sour enough to pucker the lips, but just before that happens, the bitterness from the IPA comes in and changes the flavor profile. It’s a barrage of flavor experiences on the palate and I really enjoyed the ride!

R&D IPA | American IPA
6.8% ABV, N/A IBU

This is one of the best IPAs I’ve had, hands down. Idk what the flavor is that I’m tasting in it, but it’s kind of malty, kind of like honey, and the whole thing is just delicious. It starts a little dank but that’s gone quick and is replaced by that sweet malty mystery flavor. A stupid good IPA that I will definitely be getting more of.

 

Left Hand Brewery | Longmont, CO | Flamingo Dreams | Nitro | 4.7%

Pour this one hard (as you should with a nitro) and watch it eat away some of the lacing. Pretty sweet!

Pours an awesome pink!


Aromas of sweet berries, and other fruity notes.

The berries you’ll notice right away. Small notes of strawberry and toasty crackery malt.

Solid beer all around.

Holden will get it next round (maybe) but he’s got solid beer that I should be getting today. I’m sending him another care package next week

Apricot Blonde

I liked this one, it’s a fantastic easy drinker and fruity summer beer. Real light ale flavor that is accompanied by loads of fresh apricot. Enjoyable for sure.

Key Lime Pie | Key Lime Pie Sour

this is like the lime version of the lemon icebox pie they dropped a few months ago! Real tasty fruit flavor, sour but not too sour thanks to the lactose, and the graham comes in at the end. I like it!

 

6.2% on that keylime pie too. I’ll try mine next week when we get back

Sharks With Frickin Laser Beams Attached to Their Heads | Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Stout With Coconut
10% ABV

Ok, so I definitely like this one but it’s not my absolute favorite. It is very very similar to Coco Anejo (<3), but I still like that one just a little more. The salt is a fun addition to this beer and balances all the sweetness pretty well. I wish they were in smaller cans because I had a hard time finishing the whole tall boy.

 

Yessir! Definitely on the higher end for their sours

Nachos, Lemon Heads, My Dads Boat | Double IPA
11% ABV

So they need to call this a quadruple IPA because holy shit. This thing is hoppy as hell! I couldn’t quite get through the whole thing it was so strong, but it had great flavor!

Tart Delight | Citrus Sour

A nice and light Citrus sour. Almost seltzer-esque actually. Good Citrus flavor in a not-so-heavy sour ale base. Very refreshing!

Mountain Beach | Session sour ale with pineapple, lime, and guava

Light and tart sour with a smooth taste and high drinkability. The pineapple and lime hit you first and thg end the guava is more in the aftertaste. Real good flavor and real light body.
