Hello to all fellow Tundra drivers. New to forum, Tundras, and foreign vehicles. I know the Tundra is alleged to be most "american" full sizetruck. Assembled in US with most US sourced parts but I've been an F150 driver since 83. My last F150 had a plethora of problems but the frame was literally rusting away and that was final straw. Needed a rig to tow my 24' boat (7k# empty)without complaining. Bought 2015 SR5 4x4 with 5.7L at end of model year and it doesn't disappoint. Steps, bedliner, Gater FX3 tonneau cover, Katskins leather and weathertech floor liners so far. Currently considering AMP bed step (I'm an old guy). Only 12K on the orginal tires but I'm anxious to replace them with something better and maybe a little bigger. I don't want to lift. Ideas?

Nice! Congrats on the purchase and welcome to Tundras!

I don't have any recommendations on tires as I am still on the stock ones...

    Welcome buddy!!

I'd say 275/70r18's (33") LT's would look good on a non lifted truck!!

Will fill in the wells nicely and won't need any cutting.

If you do a test fit and they don't work, 32's will work!

    Welcome to the forum.

The biggest you can go is 275/70/18 if I remember correctly. Check out the tire and wheel section for all the sizing information.

Sounds like you have a very nice truck. Post some pictures if you would. We are a visual group.

Welcome to the forum from Western side of PA. I agree with Law on the tire size (275/70/18 is a good size). Choices are many, BFG AT KO2, GY DuraTrac, etc. List is very long (and they are good). I have Trail Grappler on mine and love it, but they are aggressive. DuraTrac gives excellent winter performance. I don't have any personal experience with BFG, but many people love it.

had Duratrac on last truck and loved them. Excellent winter performance with more than adequate for the limited mud running I run into. I use the ATVs for most real off roading but sometimes ya gotta take the truck to carry stuck back into the woods.

Welcome from CO. I liked my DuraTracs that were on my Taco. The Cooper STMaxx is very similar and priced reasonably.

    Welcome from the North Country.
Can confirm the above suggestions. I've got 275/70r18 BFG AT KO2's on my stock suspension and wheels (trd off-road pkg). Fit, perform, and look great. Would recommend them as they are snow-rated and E-load range. Would handle your boat no sweat and whatever weather y'all get in the Pokes.
