Hey guys just found this on eBay and thought it was a nice addition to my truck. Can use any hook or shackle to give it a cool look. I personally went with royal hooks shackles in the red color to accent.

That looks like the same guy that made the Tundra fire pits.

Not a hater at all, just curious if you think they are rated for those operations or if they could be cheap knock off designs that could fail in a critical operation?

I mean I can't really give a true determination of the load and breaking strength but the guy who makes them seems to be a metal worker. And just make these custom ones since he has a tundra. I will probably never use mine but for a custom look that most won't have I liked them. Just thought I would share with the tundra world

I'm curious of the shear strength of the attachment point and hardware that are used. That and how much load they can bear in a recovery situation. They look cool though.

I know ARB makes beefier ones for a variety of other models like the Land Cruiser. They're designed for a 17,500lbs rating when used with a snatch strap and 4.75t bow shackle. This is one on a land cruiser [IMG]
