I am not - I'm just not a very patient guy. Theres a local guy who does an incredible job and he's charging me $150 which includes the vinyl. Not bad and its a mod you dont see too often around here.

Heres my buddies audi that he did

Finally got around to getting the window tinted. 3M Color Stable 35 on the front doors and Crystalline 40 on the sunroof. Would have liked to go darker on the front doors but didn't want to run the risk of getting a ticket.

No. Do not scuff it. Just clean really really well. If you scuff it, you won't be able to remove it.

Dipped the front bumper ends finally to match the dipped chrome grille.

Did the superstrut bed rails. Not bad for $17.00.

    20170219_162906_zpsbssa0vis_2ff54d8ce7fbb6e8f1fd2f3782f9bebf490cd824.jpg

    Also tinted the tails.

Lots of wetsanding and polishing, but turned out great. 1 coat over the upper/lower/reverse + 2 more coats on the rest.

Think Ill might have the rear bumper ends vinyl wrapped instead of dipping them. Havent decided yet.

All that is plastidiped? Do the whites blend together nicely? Looks great! You should do a writeup on how you did the grill. Just white with glossifier?

Yes, the grill surround, hood bulge and bumper ends are all plasticdip. Just cleaned it really good, then did 2 coats grey, 6 coats of white and 2 coats of glossifier, waited 15-20 minutes between coats. The match is not 100% to the factory paint as its a bit flatter in color but it is really, really close. Most people cannot tell until you get really close, mostly because the texture looks a bit different, and of course the feel. I clean it with Simple Green. I pulled the grill and hood bulge then removed the center chrome slats which I think Ill do in black or grey eventually and I just tapped around the end caps really good and did them in place.

LOL. Leave the pine pine trees, get yourself a clothes line to string between them trees, save the $1800 and get more mods done.
