Sorry, just saw this. I’m not familiar with shops up in the Plano area, but pretty much any good mechanic shop should be able to do suspension work unless it’s one of those drop bracket lifts that require cutting and re-welding the frame.

Anyway, Walton’s Total Car Care in Waxahachie once quoted me $200 to install pre-assembled front coilovers, which I thought was a fair price. That was a couple years ago, though. I ended up doing it myself, but they’ve done good work on a couple other vehicles we own. Even so, I understand Waxahachie is a good haul from you, but that should give you an idea of a fair labor estimate to install front coilovers, which should also be the same for front spacer lifts.

A little closer in Lancaster, just south of Dallas, is a hole-in-the-wall shop called Hall’s Tire Shop. They do more than just tires, though. They were the only ones willing and capable enough to work on an old ‘47 Willys CJ2A I once had. They’ve worked on transfer cases, axles, engine swaps, whatever and at really good rates. They even let me assemble my own coilovers using their caged coil compressor for $20. But they’re always very busy and you’ll have to wait a long time to get the work done.

Around the Mesquite area is Hondoworks. They do a lot of Japanese vehicles like Hondas, Toyotas and Lexus. Decent labor rates and good turnaround time, but I haven’t used them in awhile since I moved to Waxahachie.

Anyway, those are the main shops I’ve dealt with. As for off-road specific shops, I’ve never dealt with any of them but I’ve heard good things about the ones mentioned above.

Either way, let us know which one you choose and your experience with them.

    Lifted 4x4 - Lewisville on business 121
    Goode's Off-ROad in Rowlett

Lifted in Lewisville handles my needs on my current Silverado. They did my level, wheels, and tires....and I had them slated for my BDS lift.

That is on hold because I am working a deal on a Tundra. If I end up with the Tundra (and for my daughter's future FJ Cruiser) it will likely by
Goode's Off Road. Ran by a Toyota Master Mechanic + 3-4 of his employees are MM's too.
