So my hood cable dongle(sp?) keeps coming out of the latch assembly under the dash. It’s been like this for quite some time and the only thing I think that is causing it is the cable loose under the dash which puts it at a weird angle, thus why it keeps popping out . Is there clips or a route it’s supposed to follow? Pics would be great.

Not sure about the latch pull under the steering wheel, but you’ll need to remove the panel (loosen and drop it slightly) to inspect the backside of handle pull. Might need an adjustment?

    Thank you!

It's definitely not in that clip, just hanging at the moment.

Sure thing. I noticed my cable (where it penetrates the firewall grommet) on the engine bay side had a little play in it. I loaded up the grommet with Fuzeit after fishing the blinker wires through the other day when I took this pic.

Mine was hanging just like @SouthPaw's was.

After pulling the dash apart so many times recently, I guess I forgot where it lived. All better now.

    Thanks fellas!
