So I'm traveling to Nashville next week from Portland for the Mac Tools convention. I've never been there, and was hoping that those of you that are from there or been there a lot could give me suggestions on places to go eat, things to go see while I'm there the 21st to 26th.

I lived there for a year about 10 years ago but for the life of me I can't remember anything to do. Downtown there is a main strip that has a lot of cool little bars (or used to).

Im familiar with some things to do since i lived there a few years back. Lots of eats on Broadway, West End, a few places in Green Hills between Vanderbilt and Belmont Univ. Check out Hermitage, Madison, and Mt. Juliet. Plenty to do just depends on what you're into.

The main drag has a ton of cool bars, and quite a few of them serve food as well. The Jack Daniels tour is pretty cool if you have the time, and the Country Music Hall of Fame is worth a visit as well.
