That's awesome! I've been looking around for a storage idea and this is definitely going on the list! Thanks for sharing

    Process to de-chrome well underway...

    Mirror caps - done
    Grill / bulge - done

I wanted to maintain a bit of the "Limited" look be a little different. Most involved rattle-can project for me -- I am stunned with the results but learned a lot from this forum and other you-tube videos.

    Steps were:
    • Regular wash / dry
    • Scotchbrite scuffing
    • Wax and Oil remover
    • Adhesion promoter
    • Etching primer
    • Base color - matte trim black
    • SprayMax 2K matte clear

    IMG_20200716_174426.jpg IMG_20200719_193247.jpg

Still need to de-chrome the badges and the front bumper ends, but I feel good about the progress.

Oh - and hey - I'm new here!

Swapped to the 17 PRO grille w AJT bracket. Unfortunately, the TSS is not happy.

Did the same with mine, AJT bracket and ‘17 Pro grille, in the same boat, getting intermittent TSS malfunctions. I have a 2.5” spacer in the front, installed 3/4” lift shackles in the rear hoping to get back to close to factory rake, still malfunctioning every now and again .

I am 1.9" front, 1" rear, so still a little rake. This only happened after the new grill. I may try a shim to angle the tss down a little

well I have seen that replacing the bushings can be a PITA but the CB’s come with new ones and if I have it done the shop replaces them as part of the install so that would be taken care of.

I had a pretty aggressive CMC done before I put the wheels on, so I cant confirm if it was needed, but no rub now — responded to your PM

Installed the MagBak iPhone case, the case has strategically placed magnets in it. These magnets are placed so it doesn't interfere with wireless charging. Magbak also comes with 2 extra magnet strips to place in your vehicles. I placed one under the air vent next to the radio.

    IMG_3195.jpg
The phone can then be placed on to the dash either in portrait
    IMG_3197.jpg

    Or in landscape:
    IMG_3196.jpg

I'll report back on road testing. It feels fairly secure. Other cool feature it sticks to the side of the truck or any other metal surface. Eventually when I get a new Head Unit that has Wireless Airplay i'll no longer need this but until then this will do.

Thanks to @house for the TVD vinyl overlays, I have two less lonely chrome vents in the world.

@VUDUBLU Did they wrap it still installed in the vehicle, or did you remove and have it wrapped?

You can’t test hyper flash by using hazards. Hazard lights don’t go through the ecu. Blinker signal does so the ecu will recognize a fault due to the led.

@Major i had to take it completely apart. I did it at the same time I was installing the AJT design pieces so it wasn’t as bad. There is a lot that comes off, but it’s not very difficult.

I also tested with engine running and just using the turn signals... Maybe it takes a while for the fault to get recognized? Not too worried since I haven't returned the resistors yet. Thanks for the info.
