I am in the process of installing the 42 in Stealth Diode Dynamics light bar and I have a couple questions if anyone is able to answer. I have the NSV bar installed with no issues. I am wanting to do the Stealth bar as clean as possible without having to drill a hole for the toggle switch. I am only wanting to use the Stealth bar with my high beams, and I am also wanting to try and utilize the NSV power switch to power the Stealth bar on and off. I have seen the extra lightbar button, but it wouldn't work in my application. Im in a 19 Platinum and the extra spot on the NSV switch panel is taken for security. And no open positions on the driver side panel.

Hey bud, like you I'm not into aftermarket buttons on my dash or console. I was able to sneak a button down by my right knee that isn't visable without crawling under. I used an illuminated switch so there's a soft red glow to remind me it's on. Just an idea I wanted to share with you. I'm a little confused about your switching question. Is your existing light bar powered through a relay?

I got one of those for my 2020...did you use the round head allen bolts to secure the light to the brackets? I've struggled to get it positioned evenly in the bumper cutout and aimed...think it sucks that one cannot adjust fixture without removing the entire bracket set from the truck. I'm thinking about using ultra low profile head bolts to be able to adjust once mounted.

I did use the round allens. I had the same problem setting mine, but was finally able to get it set right. I just flushed the ends with the bumper face.

Do you not have any switch blanks anywhere in the truck?

Get a button from Air On Board or CH4x4 that fits perfectly. Keep the factory blank in case you ever remove the light bar.

I did not have any switch blanks. And I didn’t want to cut another switch in. I only wanted the light to cone on with my high beams so I just tapped into the high beams and everything works like I want it to.

Where did you all mount relay (with the DD42 harness) under the hood? It looks like to do so, a new hole has to be drilled? Or use self-tapping? Pictures would be nice...

I mounted the relay on my compressor mounting bracket.

I placed mine and another near the ground cable at the battery. However, had I known at the time I would have gone with the Rago Fabrication Universal Relay Holder. DFF7F416-B681-43A0-B430-3AED37DCB222.jpg 13E45B98-A8B4-4043-AEF6-112815952191.jpg B1CCC5BF-75E5-4EF5-AA9E-6EC7697495EE.jpg
