I thought it would be fun to see what people want in the next Tundras. Post anything you want that Toyota should add or change in the Tundra.

    My list,
    boxed frame,
2500 edition with 8 lug axles and beefy housing,
    smoother ride suspension,
winch mount option (compete with Power Wagon),
longer crew max bed (anything helps),
security locks for tailgate and spare tire,
    glove box lights,
power mirror switch lights (do I have to ask for this?)

I just hope they don't screw it up with tiny, high RPM minivan motors and stuff like cylinder deactivation.

Better lights all around would definitely be good.

    Flux capacitor!
My next gen Tundra wish list would be:

    1. Diesel option
    2. Factory 4:88 gear option
    3. Bring back the rear reclining seats
    4. Larger bed option
    5. Projector headlights with daytime running lights that have amber switch back turn signals built into them.
    6. Better stock stereo. Even my factory JBL system is weak.
    7. Bring back the driver side grab bar.
    8. Drivers side storage compartment below door switches like gen 2 Tundras.
    9. Better gas mileage would be nice.
    10. Have the rear bed power outlet like previous tacomas have.
    11. Enable Tundra to connect to smart phone for remote start and vehicle location. Like my current viper smart start option. I know I'm just dreaming now. Lol
    12. I wish Tundra would offer a "'Baja Tundra" edition. If they had a true long travel suspension, flared fenders, bigger motor and a very capable off-road setup. That would be sick!

Me personally, I think Toyota has done well for the most part. I don't need all the bells and whistles that the others have. My buddy had a Chevy and the dashboard looks like a airplane cockpit. I do have a few request though.
    1. BETTER SOUND SYSTEM!!!!!
    2. HEADLIGHTS (Projector Hid)
    3. Under Seat Storage
    4. Remote Start (Standard)
    5. Led lighting inside and out

    - A Locker, the truck says TRD 4X4 Off-Road on the bed sides. Even Ford's come with them.
    - Memory driver seat on the Limited Model
    - A better "premium" sound system, not impressed even with CD's
    - Better headlights from the factory for safety issues
    - Remote start that doesn't turn off when unlocked
    - Better tires from the factory

You guys serious about the diesel? Willing to pay $5k+- premium, higher fuel prices, higher maintenance for filters and additional oil. Unless they make heavier mframes and full float rear ends, you won' gain the towing advantage of the diesel. I know, I've been there with a 2006 CTD Dodge 2500 4x4 before the Tundra.

Not complaining at all though, my 2016 Platinum Crew Max is really sweet, compared to my 2001 Ford Expedition XLT that I owned for 16 years!

I would pay the additional amount for a diesel if they designed the truck with better towing capabilities. I pay about as much as diesel fuel already since I only use premium gas. I'm in construction so I wish I could have a Tundra to tow a skidsteer or other heavy equipment. The current frame and engine will not allow me to do that. It would also be nice to have a toy hauler I could haul for family trips.
