    Have you used Jasper before?

I tried to price one out and it doesn't look available. Weird?

I know I few friends that used them engines are good over 120 plus on them.

4.7 is engine that costs to high to rebuild. It's upward of 3500 to 5000 but with the engine retired 11 years ago.

When I do mine it's closer to 12 grand but a strong engine it will be.

Other option is to use carquest/advance auto or even AutoZone for a rebuild one.

Throwing a used engine in is about a waste of time and money unless you don't plan on keeping the truck. I have seen more than my share of used engines failure 2000 miles later.

I couldn't even pull up a price on them or even that they did remanufacture them. I'm sure they are good motors, wouldn't be in business this long if they were not.

Some of these engine sellers give warranties with their product. I'm with you on that though, you may not get exactly what you want.

When I do an LS swap on my Jeep, it won't be new, but out of a running truck.
