Every CCW class I have ever took always brings up the topic of having a weapon while drinking and stresses the fact that if you have been drinking and you pull your weapon and shoot someone you are going to be charged and prosecuted. Especially in the less friendly gun states. I took their advice and never carry even if I am planning to have only one beer.

Did it significantly improve your draw time like it claims compared to other holsters? I was a thinking about this for my hk vp9 but might just stick with a foxx hybrid. Have you ever had your g19 in a iwb holster and how would you compare it to the urban carry in regards to comfort?

A little of this and a little of that.
I carry my G19 everyday in an AIWB holster called an Incog by G-Code. It's far more comfortable than the Urban Carry and I'm much faster with the G-Code than the Urban Carry. I suppose that if I continually practiced my draw w/ the Urban Carry I could be as fast (or close to it) with the G-Code. However, the G-Code holster is soooo much more comfortable. The Urban Carry makes your whole area down there just sweat. I'd recommend that if you don't want another holster in a drawer somewhere you skip the Urban Carry.

Love my Incog G-Code for my G43. Using for almost 2 years, and reading your post made me realize in that time not once did I get the urge to find a better holster. I did change the Mojo clip thing out for the standard one. It is very difficult for me to conceal carry, with my setup, I can conceal in just about everything I wear.

Sweet thanks for the info guys. That looks like a pretty sweet holster with good review. Just one more question for you do you use the mag holder with that g19 you can buy with it or is it a waste of money?

I agree. In CO you can carry in a bar if the business is more of a restaurant. Kinda like Old Chicagos or an establishment like that. I believe the rule is 60% of the business is food.

On the flip side, with these thugs, they came and confronted us. Not saying the morons in my car were helping out with the situation, but I am not dying because I consumed two beers over a five hour period. I'll take that chance. There is also the saying "I'd rather be judged by 12, than carried by 6."

When I personally go out with the fellas, I only have two beers maximum anyway, no matter how long the duration is at the bar, or I don't drive.

No one carries a styer? I have a concealed pistol license in Washington. I don't carry all of the time. But when I do... it's a styer S40-A1. I'll get some pics on here when I get back home. Just like a glock... but doesn't feel like a lego gun.

    I know, glockers will hate.

Actually, I really do not like how a Glock feels in my hand, but it is an easy gun to shoot, and shoot well.

    No hate from this Glocker.

Post up some pics when you get back. I'd be interested in the Styer.

I will get some pics up here for sure. I would try to find a shop that carries styer, see how it feels. To me it's a perfect fit (especially full size, I have a compact). Built exactly like a glock, and they are also out of Austria. I'm a fan of the triangle/trapezoid sights also. ---not my pistol--- but a pic of a styer

Heck yeah @ColoradoTJ hit me up if you're ever back east. We have a big party up at the farm in WV every year for Independence Day. My closest "neighbor" is about 3/4 of a mile away. We got to shoooting a couple years ago and he had to ride up and check it out. He said it sounded like WW3 up there lol.

    Glock fan boy here.

Depending on the weather, and what I'm wearing, I carry either my G43, or my G23.

    G43 with IWB
    20170217_154128_zpshgyglczw_56157b42023e9619e54efc69950b85a4e20ad659.jpg

G23 in OWB holster that rides close to the body. A moderately loose T-shirt will hide this setup.

G23 with TLR-1 HL. This holster is made for my G17 and G22, but the 23 fits in it also. I don't carry my full size Glocks concealed.

Please excuse the ample amount of rust... just pulled it out of the safe in my moms garage. All our stuff is scattered due to our home being for sale. Anywho... here's my Styer. S40-A1
