The fronts were set at the top setting in these photos, I have since dropped it down one setting and I prefer it at that level. I don't know which add a leaf it is, had my buddy add that on for me. Love the set up, especially when I have the sway bar off if I am going to be on gravel/dirt roads predominately.

2020 Double Cab Sport with 1.75 Rough Country front level running 275/70/18 Falken Rubitreks and have zero rub because I used the +40mm offset rims. It is still close to mud flaps in front when at full lock and compressed but does not rub. An 18mm offset rim would rub on my truck even with this size tire when off road.Truck.jpg

After spending some time on the setup for the last few weeks, I have to say, I am very impressed / happy. Given its E (vs my previous C rated) , i feel that this is the appropriate ply for this truck. The 275/70 I ran prior felt flimsy, but I never really noticed it until i bumped up to the larger / beefier tire. Definitely lost some acceleration, braking distance but not much.

Nope I just had to bend the skid plate up and out of the way a bit and take off the front mud spats

Just got Toyo MTs in 285/75R18 on 18 inch Method 315s with a +18 offset. Bilstein 6112s on top setting and Total Chaos UCAs. No rub anywhere.

Thanks, nothing to the swap, took about 15 minutes, just a few nuts and a couple pop rivets. You can get the garnish/sensor cover on eBay for about $50 so don’t buy the OEM one Toyota sells for $300

no cmc needed? I had the same tires on my last truck on factory wheels and they were fine after skid plate and plastic trimming. I just ordered some +18 methods and a 3/1.5 lift for the new one and was worried with the offset that they wouldn’t go without the chop.

For those of you on 285/75/18, was there a noticeable difference in power loss? Did you regear? My truck needs bigger tires but the most i’d probably go is 285/75/18

I think as long as you have UCAs and get the alignment done, you should not have any issues. I have an RCI skidplate and no trimming was needed and I have no CMC. I’m sure if I’m driving above 15 mph and peg the wheel as far as it will go I can make it rub.

great thanks, I have spc UCAs going on this one too so hopefully it’ll work. I’m not too hot on a cmc Yet with under 1k miles on the truck

I do not have dyno research or statistical data to show you, but the 5.7 will not notice the tire change power wise. Obviously it will result in lower MPGs but power will not be an issue when you push the gas pedal at all.

Mine still had plenty of power on them. I did notice on the highway between 70-85mph my rpm were extremely low, maybe 11-1300 or so. I’m in flat country so it wasn’t an issue for me but if your in the hills you might have some tranny gear hunting going on at those speeds.

The aftermarket garnish cover didn't give you any TSS issue? I don't understand how the OEM cover cost almost as much as the grille.

No issues. I’m not sure why it cost that much either. It’s literally just a piece of hard plastic that holds the sensor in place.

Do you need uca to run these tires on stock rims with no spacers?

That will depend on what lift you have if any. Then from there, forum members can help you out with a more solid answer.

F3A33AA0-13C0-452A-BD7A-9E45E6DA268E.jpg These are doing awesome for me, but I’m still desiring more clearance. Front and rear bumpers on the way. This should help
with my main clearance issues, which are approach and especially departure angles. Then there’s the pesky low gas tank.
still digging the 285/75/r18 for “stock plus” style setup. Running stock rims and UCAs no problems. I did remove the front sway bar and am happy with that, though I have heavy spring rate front and rear. 55mm Dobinsons suspension lift front and rear. All around these tires in this size perform great on and off-road. Still no snow, but soon I’m sure. 12,000 miles on them. 15264E5D-3AEF-49C9-A94B-A95E2A60B9D5.jpg
