THAT is so good to see. Mammoth is one of my favorite places to ski and trout fish.

I've been flying coast to coast, and am absolutely thrilled to see the snow pack accumulating on the Sierra Nevada's, a truly welcome site after years of basically zilch.

My official, to the outside world weather report for Colorado is it's horrible here. Bad, bad, bad - don't risk it nor waste your time with this place.

This is driven by the massive influx of flatlanders, esp from CA - that have been moving to our state in droves each time it get's its annual "one of the top 10 best places to live". For all of you - the weathers bad, winters are dangerous, spring is fall, summer is non-existant and fall is actually winter. And winters? Nothing but arctic cold fronts bringing devastating wind and snow, and treacherous roads.

For those on this forum, the aforementioned is all BS. We love four seasons - the weather's been awesome as always. Just remember please, if anyone asks - Colorado weather is horrible!!

Off my upper office deck a few minutes ago just to add a pic...

Nah. I agree with @Fly'n Family. Colorado sucks. Stay were you are now (expect people on this forum, they can move here). Everyone else stay away from this horrible state.

It's unbelievable how much I missed living in a house with a yard. Took me 2 hours Friday afternoon to start my lawn mower but I didn't care, I was outside working with my hands. Just went down to the creek at the back of the property with the girls and dogs. Had a blast!

You should be getting closer to moving south huh?

We've got about 5 inches here so far. It's coming down pretty good the last couple of hours. We'll see how much it actually dumps. The news says 8 to 14 inches.

Spent this afternoon re-doing all my lines on the boat with the snow flying sideways. Yuck.

All heaters are on so it'll melt the snow and not ($&#^#) up my canvas.....hopefully.

For the record, truck and the KO2's were kicking ass in all this crap.
