    I emailed that guy and asked him if he could change the word Toyota to silver/grey or white so it would show on a black or dark rim.
    He told me he couldn't because he buys them from a local sign shop.

    Well that is a bummer...

    I was going to go this route and would have made the same request. I know it has been done. I have a guy here at my local sign shop that is also the local stealership’s go to guy. He has done several decals for me (including my caliper TRD ones) and I am certain he could do them, as he already has a collection of previous “popular pieces”.

    Maybe he is the source of the ones I have seen in the area?...

    Might have to try some of these. You can buy clear printable vinyl for inkjet or color laser printers on Amazon. Hardest part would be accurately cutting them but my vinyl cutter has a scanner as well so I think I will try this!

    I just got back from the sign shop. Yes, he does make them. However, his measurements are 3” x 1/2”, which is different from the 1.75” x 3/8” that are from the Etsy vendor. He did say they can be any size needed but mentioned that he found them to be a good “all around size”. The “Toyota” lettering can be any color (therefore, white is a go).

    He is going to email me a proof in a couple of days before he pulls the trigger on printing.

    Just wanted to chime in to let you know...

    Got my laser printer vinyl today so I made a thing. Printed them out, scanned the print on the vinyl cutter then traced around them before letting the vinyl cutter cut the outline. Need to refine my tracing but overall I think they look pretty good!

    Thanks! Needs a bit of refinement but overall I think they came out good. And the total cost was $18 for 20 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of vinyl sticker paper and some time figuring it all out. Also made my son a bunch of baby Yoda stickers so he's happy too :)
