hello, i have a 2008 tundra and im looking to black out the inside completely, ive seen the headliner with new fabric, but im wondring if anyone has ever done any of the upper pillar plastics and door arms along with re wrapping the sun visors. do they make black interior parts? or does the plastic and vynal paint hold up pretty well? im going to do suede for the headliner, has anyone alos put suede on the pillars and sun visors? is it easy? and does anyone know if the door panels for the newer trucks fit the 2nd gen?

I'm pretty sure they will bolt right up... You may want to visit a wrecker, or visit someone nearby with a gen 3 and do a fitment check to complete your research, but besides the updated interior I highly doubt they would retool 2 factories for a face lift...

I wouldn't paint alot of interior parts. The fuming of the plastics on a daily basis will have your windows not to mention the odors of the paints.

As far as the paint, it would take a while for the smell to dissipate completely. The haze that I was referring to is caused by the chemical compounds in the plastic that "vent" causing the haze.

Does anyone know if Toyota makes the cluster bezel or the shifter center console in black from the factory for the second gen?
