I got a double cab, mine was a work truck when I first got it and needed the bed instead of cab space. Now it’s not a work truck and I have two little ones, the back seat is absolutely miserable. Get a crewmax for sure

I wanted the Double Cab for box length. Not much in the people hauling business these days.

I had 2 crew cab trucks before my tundra, 2010 Silverado, and a 2016 ram. The Silverado was nice, plenty of room. The ram had even more room in the back. When my ran was totaled, I wanted a 6.5ft bed, as I got tired of the 5.5ft beds. I was originally looking at crew cabs with the longer beds, but then found my tundra. The double cab had tons of room in the back compared to everyone else's extended cabs. My kids, 11 and 5 fit back there nicely. Even in a car seat. That said, if i upgrade again, I'd likely get a crew cab long bed next. Mainly because it'd be nice to have the space if me and a few buddies go hunting or fishing someplace not local

+1, my buddy and I went to pick up furniture he ordered, he couldnt fit anything in his 5.5' bed (has the roll-up cover so he lost another 6"-12"). I have the DC and everything fits in the bed. I also have 2 carseats in the rear cab, no issues
