    Sounds like you will have to spend some time under the dash and find the control that routes the air and you may find your problem.

    Do you hear the baffle change under that dash when you move the selector from defrost to dash? You might have to turn the fan off etc. to make sure you can hear it. My '07 was pretty loud when it switch between the two.
