Anyone with experience on dlux. I am preparing an order for a truck I’m doing possibly next week and I want to coat the wheels and would appreciate any feedback on dlux or similar products. I plan on using cquartz on the whole ride I just want to make sure dlux will do the job on these wheels. The truck is brand new it will have 8FEE49CC-891D-4198-99B7-F138ADC02696.jpg 79458B57-DBA8-4B6F-8857-B5B2F2AADF63.jpg 10 miles on it when it gets to my garage.

It should work for those. I have some and have only tested it on my mirrors. Seems pretty good. One thing I will say is that it flashed really fast, like 15 seconds before it was sticky. It was about 85 degrees when I used it but in the shade.

Thanks as always figured you would know. I just want to coat those bronze wheels before they see to much action. I’ll keep temp in mind because it’s hot as hell down here right now.

It will not help with chips. It’s a ceramic coating designed for plastic a wheels. It will help with road grim and brake dust. It is supposed to make them much easier to clean because the grim will not adhere to the metal or plastic. I plan on using it on the wheels. For plastic my go to is trim shield from shine supply.

I’d have to dismount them. I’ll probably just do it in a friends air conditioned garage. It where I’ve done the last few coatings. GiveS me a good excuse to hang out and drink some beer with him anyway.

I haven’t really used it. I have a bottle but never got around to applying it other than in a few test spots that I didn’t even bother monitoring. People do speak highly of it for wheels though.

If I’d known you were getting some I’d have just sent you the bottle I have.

Appreciate it. I’ll see how it does and keep everyone up to date. Had to keep my autogeek addiction going.
