I have a 2017 Tundra and am going to buy some of the 2020 BBS Pro wheels. Can I swap my TPMS sensors from my current wheels into the new ones? Do they fit? Will I have to reconnect them to my truck or recalibrate?

    Thanks in advance.

Not exactly sure about fitment with those exact wheels, but I went from 2018 18” wheels to aftermarket wheels and they swapped the tpms and it didn’t require calibration. Check part numbers between them for the wheels. If they are the same, should fit. I think there are only 2 different ones, the normal one and one at a different angle for steel wheels.

If you have off road wheels right now, than yes they will fit on the bbs pro wheels, and Since the TPMS will stay with your truck no need for recalibrate.

I went from 15 tundra off road wheels to 19 bbs pro wheels and the tpms fit perfect.

I swapped the sensors from both 2020 Platinum 20" wheels and 2019 Land Cruiser 18" wheels to the BBS TRD Pro wheels fit/worked flawlessly.

If you have steel wheels the TPMS don't "technically" fit, but the tire shop can flip them upside down and they'll work. I went from steel wheels to alloys and they work fine. Some shops will tell you they won't work, but they will. As others have said, if you currently have alloy wheels they'll swap over with no issues.

I asked the guy I’m buying from and he said he didn’t.

Any relatively new car with a low tire pressure light typically has them. I think the install the valve stem in the Tundra, so you have to rely on somebody to tell you the truth if buying them used.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

OEM version aren't cheap. >$100 per sensor. So if someone is selling wheels they swapped out, they may have swapped sensors as well. Sensor valve stems look different, easy to spot. But, the sensor non-replaceable batteries last around 10 years so no telling how much life is left in them.
