Sorry no experience with these. Didnt know they made them until after I trimmed my liners. If I would have known before I trimmed I would have purchased them. They seem to make great products. And have heard nothing but positive experiences.

Thanks Mike. I’ll share some details and photos after I complete the install in the next week or so. Looks like an easy install with the benefit of maintaining infrastructure and plenty of clearance for my 34” tires.

Got my 1/4” strut spacers in and well liners re-installed... everything fits now w/no rubbing... shop honored their original claim that they would make itright as promised... looks and feels perfect!! I suppose I will see if this minor mod affects anything long-term, maybe this is a good alternative to trimming heat gun etc... shall see

Sorry to hijack but I had to ask. All you guys adding tires and stuff...did any of you end up like me with my passenger rear tire sticking out of the wheel well more than the drivers rear?

I have not added tires and stuff yet, but in checking out where I thought it would end up with different offsets, I have noticed that the stock left and right are different. The bed seems to line up perfect with the cab, so it must be the axle that is off by a bit.

I’m going to start a #MeTooToyota movement regarding this BS. Truck shop I went to said they think they can get me pretty close to being right.

    Thanks for posting!!!
We work with quite a few Toyota dealerships and with the amount of trucks they have on the showroom floor they always build a few great ones but can't cut anything, stuffing the largest tires and wheels they can safely.. but always run into clearance issues at the lower front bumper. At their request We designed a few versions and finalized on what we have now. Simple install yet extremely effective on adding additional clearance. Thanks everyone!

Wanted to thank @BRNG ITT for posting the pics earlier in this thread. I got my liners cut and installed back in today pretty smoothly and it looks really clean.

When I look at post #9 in this thread, I think missed a cut around the existing hole that has a metal reinforcement, which makes the outer side on mine warp a little bit.

But, combined with the Coachbuilder bumper shims I also added, hopefully I'll have plenty of clearance for my future setup.

Tried pulling my bumper off to do the ships myself, that was a mistake. Got everything unbolted and then couldn’t get the bumper off by myself.

Just did bumper shims on my truck I left all the plastic attached then loosed all nuts on one side then the other but leaving one but barely on the other then pulled the loose side just enough to get shims in. Then did the same to the next side.

My bumper supports would not break loose at all. I ended up completely taking the bumper apart that was fairly easy and got them installed in about an hour doing it that way.

Thanks so much for this! Just wondering, I’ve seen others drill a hole in the yellow circle that I marked on your photo, but yours uses the factory hole. Any figment issues when putting the liner back on?

    Lots.
I installed the CoachBuilder Bumper Shims as part of the CB Pro Kit. This moved my front bumper out by a good 1/2". To accomplish that I removed three of the four bumper nuts on both sides of the bumper then loosened the remaining nut almost all the way off on both sides. I removed this last bolt completely on one side and was able to push out the bumper and slide in one bumper shim then the second on that side. I restarted the nut on that newly shimmed side and then repeated the process on the other side. After all 4 shims were in place i reinstalled and torqued all the bumper bolt nuts. I did not have to remove the bumper using this process. After I installed 35x12.5 Toyo Open Country AT III's on the stock TRD Pro rims I had just the slightest of rub at full lock in reverse. I took a heat gun to the plastic liner and used a basketball to "roll" over the warmed/hot liner. That easily molded the wheel liner forward enough for complete clearance without ever cutting any plastic. If you look at the liner you can't even tell I "modified" it. If need be there is enough play in the wheel liner (on a 2020 at least) to remove the bottom screws of the liner under the plastic bumper end cap and push the liner forward and drill a new hole in the plastic liner to line up with the existing rivnut to hold it forward. You can get at least another 3/8" - 1/2" inch clearance this way without any cutting of the wheel liner. Good luck with your project this weekend.

Got it. Yes, I have a very slight rub in full lock reverse. Do you have any pics of the liner after applying the heat gun method?

After "modification" with heat gun and no cutting/drilling.

Word. Glad you got it sorted! If you look at my installed pic I had misaligned something so it buldged out a little bit in the middle—to fix it I know I had some recutting but I can't remember what exactly I did

Thank you very much for this idea! I also used a heat gun and a small piece of 1" pipe to roll over the area that was rubbing and gently mold it into a curve towards the front like you. I never would have thought of this!
