    3” Bilstein 6112 Lift In Front 1.5” Shackle lift in rear with Bilstein 5100’s. 20” Fuel Beast Wheels +20 Offset 295/60/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
    What’s up everyone? I just threw 295/60/r20’s on my 2019 Tundra, I have a 3/1.5” Lift. Wheels are 20x9 Fuel Beasts with +20 offset.

    I did some trimming today and was testing it out and I’m still rubbing somewhere and I believe I’m rubbing on the body mount on the driver side only and onlyin reverse.

    Can anybody think of a reason why that would happen? Not installed correctly? Too little air in the tires? Think I have plenty of air...

    All of my research said this wouldn’t happen, and shouldn’t be close to happening. So now it has me wondering why? And has it happened to anyone else? I’ve trimmed a lot so I don’t think it’s rubbing on plastic. Any thoughts are appreciated.

    i run 295/60/20's on my factory rims (+60 offset i believe). they're toyo at2's (shouldn't matter). i only rubbed on the front front (meant to type front twice) mudflaps (the small ones closest to the bumper). after removal, no rubbing at all.

    i run a 3/1 readylift.

    hard to imagine your rubbing on the body mount. i would guess front corner of bumper if anything. but that is only that, a guess.

    are you rubbing at full lock? i would also guess that'd be when you would hit body mount.

    if your rubbing anywhere in between straight and full lock, i would guess your rubbing elsewhere. i.e. bumper or front front mud flaps.

    let us know what you find out. +20 offset wheels may be in my future.

    {idea light bulb just went off}

    check your underneath splash guard (what most call a skid plate). it's anything but a skid plate, however, i did have to remove the "wings" to prevent rub.

    i drilled (had to use a cobalt bit) through the "rivets" (i believer 6-8 per side), and used a flat head to "pop" em off. did not want to use a dremel or jigsaw (could never cut straight enough for my ocd).

    my best guess is your rubbing the splash guard. makes a gawd awful "tinny" sound.

    lots
    First i would get somebody to turn your wheel full lock both ways and see, chances are you might need a BMC , i have seen lots of other people put 35 x 12.5 on their trucks without a BMC, mine sure didn't fit. So ya every truck is different.

    Yeah exactly....I should've been able to fix 35x11.5's with no problem...so i find it odd I'm having a problem with 34x11.8.... I'll do some more investigating.

    Agree shouldn't be your body mount . Did you push out the front liner? Granted I have 18 " rim it's still same offset an tire size. I removed mud flaps an front the little front mud flaps. Molded the plastic liner (rubs for sure there) I also bent the edge of the skid plate by the sway bar for extra insurance.
