I turn my sensors off a lot. Sitting in Walgreens drive through, they go off until I leave. Poor weather coats them and they go off. Plenty of times the option to turn them off comes in very handy.
Surprisingly, having my boat hooked to the back doesn’t phase them.

My common sensor on my 04 works just fine and tells me to pay attention when the R indicator changes from the P or D indicator. On a serious note, i can see everything better behind me since installing backup LED's.

Toyota needs to consider the fact that he just couldn't see the tree due to a forest. Damn those trees!

Christ sounds like my Uncle. Manly-man State Trooper 25 years, now a hunt-you-the-fuck-down Federal Marshal. All he wanted was a son and had NINE DAUGHTERS. Chasing the dragon, I wouldve personally stopped after the second or third. Or before the first. I actually got myself spayed in 2016 so I dont think I get a vote..

In my youth, I backed into a low rock wall, and once into a solid parking bollard. Headspace happens.

The bollard dinged the hell out of the rear bumper, and the bollard wasn't even scratched. But, no problem...it was one of those POS worthless "Thunderbird" rentals. (Ford, even you should be ashamed for putting the blue oval on that.) Devious azzholes had designed the bollard to be hit...6" pipe filled with concrete, cut off just below the deck lid, and too "skinny" to be seen from the sides. (I "centered" it.)

Anyway, I did the quick drop at the airport and skedaddled. It wasn't like that little bumper ding depreciated that vehicle. :anonymous:

I too recently discovered to much rain, or hard washing, makes my front right senor angry and stuck on for hours.
It is irritating as shit, but I always have them on, except when it malfunctions like above, they are very useful imo.

It's funny my wife's 2016 lexus has a mute option so like when you are in the drive through, so you don't have to take it off, and for the lane departure instead of the annoying beep her steering wheel trembles slightly. Much better system than on my 2019 Tundra :)

Whoah, furrin' license plates but it appears they drive on the right side of the road. That could be, uh....some country with a sense of humour. :D

Well maybe... Is his mobility cane approved by DOT which requires a hold golf grip with elastic wrist loop?

Didn't read all the replies but I bet there's some legal fine print in the owners manual to protect Toyota from things like this

I chuckled a spell, when I read the first post in this thread, at this fine example of our exponentially increasing dependence on technology and the resulting retardation of our motor skills, but then went into violent conniptions of laughter almost causing involuntary urination when I read this:

“why don't y'all bit my ass”

    Well say sir, well say!
