Id appreciate that. Im thinking of Fox 2.5 reservoir with DSC on all 4. Got a quote for $2800 today. Not sure how good that is. First quote I got. Love to see what you could do.
    Thanks again

Let me wait until after the holiday weekend and I'll reach out to him. I plan on celebrating my freedom with some drinks this weekend, so if you don't hear from me on Monday or Tuesday send me a reminder. =]

Build looks great! How are you liking those sliders- do they function good as a step? I’ve been looking at those for a couple months and you have the best pics of them on a tundra. Can you please a few more pics- mainly with the door open and looking down and maybe of one looking straight down the side of truck.

They're just fine as a step. Certainly make getting in the vehicle easier.

RRW also asked me to take several pictures to put on their website but I haven't gotten around to it. I'll take a few later today if I remember - lately I've been busy with building and moving in to a new house.

On an unrelated topic, guitar wall is getting close to being done:

Yeah I’ve been bugging them also about pics how funny. Man your guitar wall bringing be back to my high school days. Had a fender strat with the invader humbucker- was Tom Delongs model from blink 182. Miss rocking out in the garage with the marshal half stack!! Now it’s just acoustic once in a while.
Pics would be great when you get a chance man, I’m leaning towards v4 model with full top plate

Hope these images help - sorry this took so long. I barely have time to eat lately.

Also got new tires. Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT in 295/70r18. Exceptionally pleased with ride quality 200 miles in. We'll see how they hold up, but if reviews are any indicator I imainge I'll have these for several years.

Love both of your builds. Following!

    Few questions:

How did you mod your truck for fog lights on without the headlights?

I am pretty sure I’m going to get the adjustable Fox 2.5s...mind sharing via PM where you got yours?

What UCAs are you running? I was hoping to keep my stock wheels, but I need to find UCAs that won’t rub if I mount 285/75s or 295/70s on

I didn't mod for anytime foglights, although I think there is abguide here somewhere. Peraonally if I were going that route I'd just wire them to a new switch before I started cutting up factory wiring.

I use the Zone Offroad UCAs. Lots of great choices out there though! JCA and SPC are both good options without breaking the bank.

I'll send you a DM with contact info for Marc.. he hooked me up with the Fox stuff and got a great price, but Fox was running a sale at the time. Im not sure what the current price would be.

Ah, I see. I saw your fogs only pic and thought you modded for anytime fogs. I’ll check out Zone Offroad. I ran JBAs on my 4Runner and really liked them. Thanks for the info and the connect!

    Fun drive home.

Been getting the basement in the new house finished.. Framing, hvac, and electric done, will run low voltage and install insulation this weekend.

These pictures are before hvac and electric was done.

Waiting on my brother and a trailer to go pick up 81 sheets of 4x12 1/2" sheet rock. 20201121_102519.jpg 20201121_102534.jpg 20201118_164457.jpg 20201118_164506.jpg 20201118_164529.jpg

Nice build thred. How far out do your sliders stick out from your doors. How was the install easy to bolt on?

They don't stick out too far - I think there are some pictures in the OP and later in this thread. I'd go measure for you but I've been working all day and I'm just going to sit on my butt for a bit. If I remember tomorrow I'll get some measurements.

Install was easy. I used a floor jack and raised them into place, started a couple of bolts right away, and it was no problem. Did it alone in under an hour.

Does it seems like the sliders are pretty strong/heavy duty. I am thinking about buying them but nervous they will bend under real world use

Whats "real world" use for you? Post a picture of your most extreme offroad moment, crawling over rocks, sliding on your skids and rails. Ill let you know if I think they could handle it.

They're just as strong as any other set of bolt on sliders out there. If you aren't sure if they're going to be strong enough, get some weld on sliders.

Sub'd! Great build thread! I'm salivating over the end of my Tacoma lease to go back to the Tundra. And funny enough, wife is wanting a lifted 4Runner too! We also dabble in home reno's - so don't hesitate to keep us all updated on whatever you have going on!

How do those sliders work as steps? I want the durability of the sliders, but will need them to function as steps on a daily basis.

Love the build so far. Wish I had been able to get Cav Blue when I got my pickup.

We use them as steps with no problem at all - they don't drop down like running boards would, so that first step up is a little higher, but it's still very doable.

With the lift on your truck would you say the first step is like stepping into a stock truck without steps?

Pretty close. If it helps I can get a measurement from ground to top of sliders for you.
