Same issue here, went through 10 BFG tires - nothing but balancing issues.

My road noise becomes apparent at about 50mph, but at the same time.....my whole trucks not shaking/shimmying anymore.

So maybe a 2.5/2.75k mi update.

Went in for a tire rotate (did a cross rotate). sounds like when they spun them the balance was still good. Initial drive off I had a slight shimmy and thought to myself, oh no. Drove out the shimmy. Extended sit over sunday/monday to this morning - no drive iff shimmy and nothing at freeway speeds. All bueno, continue to be pretty happy with the tires.

These tires are very smooth even for a E-rated tire. These replace some D-rated BFGs on my stock 20 inch wheels. The ride is much improved.20200606_112257.jpg

I put a set of LT275/65/20's on my truck last Thursday. Drove about 600 miles since. I will say they are a great riding tire & handle gravel roads good.

Yesterday I put a set of AT3's on my Tundra (2020 limited CM 4x4) that replaced BFG KO2's that I used for only 1000 miles. While the KO2's, which were LT285/55r20, felt like stone tires, the AT3's (P275/60r20) compare favorably to the OEM Bridgestone Dueler H/T in terms of ride quality (my opinion of course).

My notes after 1 day of mixed highway and in-town driving for ~75 miles: Smooth, quiet ride, but there is a slight hum at high speeds that others have mentioned. It's not bad though. They seem to run true to size. Both front and back are 33 inches horizontal (expected diameter). Front tires are 32 inches vertical, however, and back tires are 32 1/4 inches vertical. Discount tires set the pressures at 33 psi front, 35 psi back. I'll probably maintain these pressures - the ride quality is really nice and as such I'm hesitant to change anything. I can't comment yet on wet traction since it didn't rain yesterday or this morning. I'm hoping for an improvement over the KO2's that were slick on wet pavement.

Cheers. And thanks to everyone for their input on this thread. I wouldn't have purchased the AT3's without your reviews!

Jumped on the Toyo AT3 band wagon as well (295/70r18). I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet these are compared to the stock tires.

I think i've put about 1500 miles on mine since i got them. Very pleased so far. Driving in the Oregon rain is not an issue , the tires grip wet pavement very well.
Ive been down some muddy logging roads on the family property and these AT3s throw mud real nice, no slipping .

For reference, the truck is on stock suspension for now. Will install a ready lift leveling kit soon.

My next door neighbor has the ridge grapplers and likes them a lot. There a good choice!

I was considering both the Ridge Grapplers and the Toyo AT3. I really like the aggressive sidewall of the Ridge Grappler, but I wasn't crazy about the triangular tread pattern. What ultimately swayed my decision over to the Toyo AT3 was the fact that the AT3 has a newer tread compound, had M+S certification, and for the 295/70r18 the AT3 was 7.4 lbs lighter per tire than the Ridge Grappler. This video also didn't make me feel good about the Ridge Grappler's snow performance.

Priced a set of at3 275/70/18 at $1085 mount balance out the door. Seems like a really good price. What say you guys?

I would feel good about that price as it seems fair. That's roughly the DT price before you pay taxes and for them to mount and balance them. I just bought Ridge Grapplers and a mom and pop store about 25 miles outside my city beat the pants off the price I was getting quoted at the larger stores - plus I like supporting small businesses!

I paid $1200 for a set of P275/60r20 from DT including mounting, balance (lifetime), and tax but without the certificates. Seemed fair. I really like the tires.

Just bought a set and put them on my 2015 Tundra. I really like them. Road noise is minimal and they are great in the rain. I am very pleased with how the new A/T III's look and perform. I was able to get mine from a local tire shop for $189 each and $912 out the door tax included (255 70R18).

Aloha..had 285/75-18 installed on 2017 Tundra TRD Pro on stock rims. Had to remove front mud flaps and have very slight rubbing reverse full lock. Feels great after install but then had dealership check alignment a few days later and made small adjustment and have had alignment issues ever since. I'll make separate post regarding alignment issue but other than that Love these tires....

Hmmm. That's interesting. I have these on my 2019 TRD Pro and haven't experienced any rubbing or alignment issues. Has your truck ever been in an accident? Here is my alignment from stock to Toyos below. My stock was out of alignment a bit.

No accidents that I know of (purchases used and car fax clean) but prior to the alignment I had no issues whatsoever.

ExpeditionPhoenix are you running the same size 285/75-18?
