I'm finding all of this very interesting, and seeing how the virus has affected the buyer and dealer. Does anyone know how to find the 'invoice' price on 2020 4x2 CrewMax Tundras. Thanks!

I was in the market for a new Tundra just as the pandemic hit. Like most people I waited. I have the benefit of many Toyota dealerships not far from me. A quick search of their websites show that they have very little to no stock. Bummer.

I just traded in my 2013 Tacoma SR5 for a 2020 Tundra TRD Sport, SR5 upgrade package. I pick it up Saturday. My Tacoma was a 2013 with only 64k on it, they gave me $23K for it. I thought it was a good price. MSRP for the Tundra was $46853, - $2500 toyota rebate, = $44363. Didn't finance through Toyota, rates were too high. Navy Federal CU rates were 1.79%. Out the door $21363, they through in side steps and bed cover for $0. I think I got a pretty good deal.

I got mine for $39357 before the rebates and then my 11K trade-in (‘14 ram with 139K miles), after the TTL and payoff, $33200 out the door
    4x2 crewmax with SR5 package

9.75% is robbery. Sad thing is, this virus will have many states raising their taxes. I would nt want to live in Cali in next few years.

I mean, aside from the 5 years in the military, ive been here 33 years.. sucks every time regardless but Cali doesnt even give the courtesy of a reach-around. Damn.

[/GALLERY]2020 SR5 MGM DC. 2WD, stainless steps, spray in bed liner, upgrade pkg, crappy standard steel wheels (exactly what I was looking for), just happened to roll off the car carrier an hour before I showed up at the dealer. Wasn’t even in their inventory yet, I saw it sitting there and asked about it. “I don’t think it’s in inventory yet”...38900 OTD less trade, in Central Fl, less my trade (2018 Taco SR5). Got what I would consider a fair price on the trade (29500, and I know they sold it within a week for 28900)

I am in Tampa. The Toyota dealerships here have little to no stock on Tundras. The $38,900 seems high for a DC SR5. No?

38900 was TTT OTD (9400 plus the paid off Taco). Was about the best deal I could find, since there is almost no inventory in the Tampa area at all right now.. Got this one at Lakeland, they did throw in the all weather mats, Tint and their BS protection package. I’m happy - love the truck.. looks better with some wheels on it now.. :)7132E8D3-96F5-4C95-917D-58770E8BDA25.jpg

My best luck has been negotiating based on factory invoice. I split the TDA fee with the dealership on my tundra.

negotiate on price, no trade, no financing, just price. After you come to terms on price, then negotiate the other stuff if needed.

I think I got a good deal, took me several months looking and calling around. I'm in Northern CA where the taxes are really high.

About a week ago, I picked up the following super awesome Tundra (my 1st one)
2020 Tundra 4x2 SR5 CrewMax Super White 10 miles on the ODO (Didn't need the 4x4 for my needs and we have pretty good weather). No update packages.
    • $40,212 MSRP with a couple of dealer installed options, delivery and processing
    • $34,500 paid plus tax, title, license and only like $65 in dealer administrative fees
    • $10g down and financed the rest at 2.69% 5 years and will pay off in 4 or less

Because I didn't spend too much money on the purchase, I'm already putting the savings to mods and hoping to pick up things from this group.
I've already picked up a free set of OEM Toyota running boards and 20s off of a 2018 Platinum because this cool guy just wanted space back in his garage. I helped him clean it out.

    Mods complete and future:
    • Chrome mirror caps
    • Bedrug mat and tailgate
    • Interior LED lights (exterior LEDs planning)
    • Frac harness (purchased and in process of shipping)
    • OEM Toyota tailgate lock (purchased and shipped)
    • Bilstein 5100 Lift and level all around (planning)
    • upgrade full sound system (looking at tech12volt)
    • Tonneau cover (still looking)
    • TRD Pro exhaust (currently one is for sale at $500 too high for me)

Is that a Crewmax or Double Cab? Also, does it have the SR5 upgrade package on it?
Asking because I am shopping around for a Tundra myself.

CrewMax with no SR5 Upgrade packages. I'm updating my post with the monroney sticker.

You got a pretty good deal, especially given the shortage of Tundras that I’m seeing.
    Congrats :woot:

In the market for a full size after having a tacoma for 3 years. I'm in PA and have gotten one quote of $42,718 after the $2,500 rebate and another that is $40,460 after the rebate. Built the truck out on Toyota's website. MSRP is 44K, some dealers list MSRP closer to 45,500.

    2020 Crewmax SR5 4x4 w/SX Package in Black

Anyone have a number I should have as a goal?

When I bought my 2017 SR5 access cab 2WD 5.7L FFV, I basically let about 10 dealers on the coast of SE (mostly along 95/26/77/85 highways, between Charlotte and West Palm Beach) know that I would be a buyer at 36K tax/tag/title out the door. I know its a basic truck but utility for me and I was prepared to wait.. within 6 mths a Dealer just north of Charlotte (Salsbury, NC) agreed.. deal done... (they needed 2 more sales to make quarter targets)

63k here in Bay Area, California with roughly 9.25% sales tax. A lot of dealers won’t budge on pros

Not saying this is fair but this was what they wanted
