Anyone have some good recommendations for a good sun shade for the truck?!?

I had a nice CoverCraft for my Chevy, but it didn’t cover the windshield like I wanted. Gaps at the bottoms and top.

Heatshield, sold by most dealships also, each one made for specific vehicles, cost about $40 which is high but not terrible.

Dad just gave me his old one from his last Tundra. Silver on outside, black on inside, use each side depending on summer or winter.

Available direct I think, and some are on Amazon, but not prime for ours.

I use one that I bought from Costco a few years ago. Was really inexpensive and keeps the inside temps down.

I went with Wearhertech, a little pricey, $60, but fits great.

Got you typical auto store XL folding one- cost like $13 bucks and works like a champ. Between that sun shield and adding vent visor the inside temps came way down- huge improvement

I've got/had Heatshield for multiple vehicles. I will say this, the Tundra one is HUGE (because we have a giant piece of glass to cover), and it's a bit cumbersome to roll up at this size - especially if someone is in the passenger seat. But they cover pretty good, and they last forever. We've had the one in our 4Runner for 6 years now and it looks like we could get at least another 6 out of it.

On edit: ours have all been silver on one side, white on the other. We have ordered direct from Heatshield with no issue. Also, if this is of interest to you, I think they also make shields for the back and side windows for most vehicles too. No, I'm not a salesman for them, lol, just been happy with their product.

My Tundra screen my dad gave me is actually a Weathertech I discovered. It is better imho in my area as the black side increases heat inside the truck during winter while the silver keeps it cool in the summer.

Just bought a new Heatshield brand for my wife's Lexus ES350. Silver on one side, white on the other. Works well, fits perfect.

    Weathertechs run about $60
    Heatshields run about $40.

Both of these are better then cheap auto parts store thin noninsulated junk that deforms and falls down in the heat, and starts to peel quickly. This is what I replaced in the wife's car.

I think both of these brands also make shields for side windows, I know heatshield does.

That's my experience and what we use, to each their own.
