I recently bought my first Tundra. It's a 2011 SR5. MPG suck compared to my 2018 Camry

Trying to decide if I want to convert it from 2WD to 4WD.

Welcome from AZ. Sell it and buy a 4x4 if that’s what you want. I don’t think 2nd gennies are easily convertible

First, Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)!

I would make the conversion decision based on risk. Are you willing to lose possibly more than you paid for the truck if the conversion goes wrong? You will likely not have any warranty so all problems would be on you. If it is a project that you just want to have fun with though, go for it. There are more expensive hobbies. I voted no based on the $ loss risk, but the hobby perspective may be more applicable to you.
