thanks. these are top shelf quality so expect them to be priced accordingly. https://headlightrevolution.com/toyota-tundra-07-13-xb-led-headlights/ if you keep an eye out in this forum sometimes they have 20% off sales. next one i believe is targeted for black friday later this year.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but if you have a 2010+ Tundra, you will not need the brackets, because the 10-13's came with the correct brackets already, right?

Yea I went back and read thru the thread after @BigArt told me the part numbers were higher in the thread. Just ordered my brackets, bolts, and clips.

Just joined forum because I came across your thread. I've got a 2008 Sequoia and plan on doing the same update to the lights and grille. On the wiring harness did you get option 1 or 2? Is the only difference that option 2 has the amber DRL and option 1 is white DRL? I think I like having the amber. Just thought I would get your opinion on the options or if you would change.

I just ordered the LED lights. Can you tell me what the part number is for the small plastic trim piece below the headlights? Any other parts you need?

    So far I have ordered:

    TRD Pro Grille
    Buldge

    2018+ LED Headlights
    Wiring harness

need to order small trim piece below headlights.

    Anything I am missing?

    Thanks!

Thanks! I think I like the amber on when DLR's are on also.

If you need the 2010+ brackets, it's worth shopping around. When I upgraded my 08 to a 10+ grille I found them on Rockauto for the best deal, but prices did vary.

For lack of being able to come up with something better, I bought the weatherstrip on Amazon. How did you apply it, just adhesive to the bottom with curve facing motor? Because it still leaves more than a quarter inch exposed on mine. Thanks.

I wanted to thank the folks that contributed to this thread... Jbtaco2002 and BigArt especially. I was able to get this swap done on my 07 Crewmax ltd, and I'm really digging it. I haven't decided whether to pull everything back off to colormatch or not. Getting the grill on and off is no sweat, but it's a bit stressful wrestling with the bulge. Once it locks in, it's really in there and I haven't found anywhere online that shows the proper way to remove it. I'd hate to do my usual "fiddle with it til something cracks" method. Anyhow, many thanks!

looks great. yeah i wrestled with that bulge. i first tried to put the grill and bulge together then install on truck and that wasnt working. then spent another 20min trying to get the bulge seated properly.

That looks great! Especially with the Sequoia headlight mod. I'm on the fence, mainly due to cost, but its great to see everyone's efforts and how great they look. I have a LTD CM too, and the chrome is getting to be a bit too much...

I'm gonna try to get mine installed later today. I'll post up pics. I assume install is pretty straight forward. Any notes I should be careful of?

There are some tabs underneath the bulge that if you don't get them to slide under the matching part of the grill, it won't pull up flat... and you won't know that until you have it all jammed on there. Don't ask me how I know. The little rubber gap filler won't sit flat on the hood if you don't get those tabs hooked under just right. I fixed it but that was not a fun extra 10 minutes. I know that doesn't help much, but all I can say is don't rush that one part.

If you have a local dealer that participates in the parts.toyota.com site, that's where I found the best deal locally. I had to drive an extra 20 minutes, but saved $200 over the dealer near my house. People also like Sparks Toyota, although I haven't bought anything from them.

My addled brain is having trouble sorting parts for my 2013 Tundra. For those of you with 2010+ Tundras, parts list is:

    Black grill PT363-0C200-BL;
    Bulge 53111-0C240-C0;
ebay screws and clamps: 90119-A0156 (qty 10) 53191-0C010 (qty 5) BUT looks like you have to buy the brackets also? If not needed, any source for just the hardware?
    Amazon weather strip: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077P632FC?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    No new brackets needed, correct?

I’m with you on this. I re-read this post a zillion times and my conclusion is you don’t need anything other than the grill and bulge to mount on later year 2nd gens.
I looked at my chrome grill from underneath and all the bolts / screws look like they will swap over no problem.
I also bookmarked the weather strip to mount on the bumper itself to hide the gap.
    I think that’s that.
Let me know if you find out otherwise.

OK great! So I'm NOT crazy...except for all the silly mods I am doing! I guess the clips would be optional if the originals break. I'd like to get them, but don't want to buy the whole kit...am pricing grill now from my local dealer but I'm not holding my breath. When I did the Pro grill on my Tacoma a bunch of the clips on the original broke, and it was brand new. I'll post back if I find another singular source for them.

Best price I found for the grill is $355.09 and bulge / Grill molding $58.79.

we would need someone with a 10-13 model to chime in but my understanding is those later early gen2's don't need the brackets. i have an 08 so cannot say for sure. i needed them. good luck.

I can tell you from experience taking the bulge back off is not easy.
I had to remove it because I was impatient and installed before I received the brackets.
I broke a few clips getting it off and had to re-order some of the clips that came with it. sucked...

Well.... ordered and awaiting for email so I can go pick them up from my local dealer.
Hopefully I don’t need any other hardware for install.
Gotta go home and convince my wife that this was a smart decision. HAHAHA!

my 'go to' online dealers for toyota parts in general are:

    https://www.sparksparts.com/ coupon code TundraCrew
    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/ coupon code forum20

have to keep an eye on shipping charges though.

Thanks sensei. I am checking with my local dealer but they are always higher than anything online. And yes, shipping adds a bit of $$.
