    @Mountun Goat & @Black Wolf

Here’s our colts. The bay and the palomino are our two. The buckskin in the middle is their Momma and belongs to my bud. The bay is at the trainer, the palomino goes right after. Can’t wait to get them back! :)7242B3A8-21FF-44CA-A7F4-B9D8A24FAC2E.jpg

That’s the plan. Most of our time riding is late summer, fall and into the winter.

Nothing like riding a horse thru remote country!

Why is the pontoon boat not in the lake while it's not frozen solid? I notice things.........

That’s awesome dude. You can really get into some unreal spots and close to game on a horse since your basically riding a tame moose haha.

I would love to! But at this point even to go myself this season seems to be falling apart for me. I didn’t even put in for draws. I just 999’d them all this year. If we’re not moving before snow this year I’ll be shocked. Not that I can’t go hunting while moving towns, it’s just one less thing to have to deal with. The elk will be there next year hopefully haha.

Did you get any draws this year?

I totally forgot about the draws. Too much going on. LOL. I'll be trying a couple spots for deer during the GOS though.

My wife only lets me have 1 canoe at a time and 1 canoe only.....if I had my way, I'd own a fleet of them.

I prefer one canoe per foot, not sqft, one for each foot, like shoes.

Haha. I hear ya. Family life/hobby balance.

Truth be told. I’m not really a pontoon boat guy. ;) Canoes on the other hand... I will own one again soon!

My Dad went around to some neighbor friends when I was a wee fella for Halloween as ‘Mr. Canoe head’ Tossed it over his shoulders and walked around the street trying to knock on doors. I still remember it to this day haha.

We have 1 nice family canoe (I am the main paddler), but we have a kayak for each of us (4) as well as an inflatable StandupBoard.

It's a full load when we go camping.

But it's worth it to get everyone out on the water. I love the simplicity of a canoe and just paddling around and enjoying the scenery and peacefulness of finding a quite spot away from the motor boats and people.

I have the canoe that was my Dads head that Halloween. His Dad bought it for his 14 birthday. He had it for years as a yellow canoe. Then gave it to his brother for 30 years. Bro gave it back to him. He spent time re-fiber glassing the weak spots, adding new seat crossbars and painting it red. Then he officially named it Leo (after my grandpa). Pretty lucky to have a floating piece of family history :)

Have to admit, I haven’t used it much in the last 3 years of owning it. Tried once with two toddlers and two small dogs without success so stored it until more maturity is added.

My Dad and I rigged a pulley system to hang it off my shop ceiling. Works great and keeps it safe and sound.

    :)
