Guys, just picked up 2020 crew max, what brand of tonneau cover do you recommend. I am looking for a Tri-fold one that seals decently.

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
Bak Pac tri fold worked greatly as I owned a CM.
I’m also looking for another one for my DC.
    Good luck on your search

I have a Bakflip tri fold and while on one hand I love it and it functions great. I wish I had gotten a retractable cover. If you are going to use your bed a lot where you will need the cover open, a tri fold will block your rear view when folded up. If that isn't a concern I highly recommend the Bakflip tri fold.

Bakflip. It blocks the rear window if you need full bed, but then again you get the full bed... takes up no space. Love being able to partially close as well.

I've had nothing but good experience with an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 since I purchased it at the end of last year. There are triple seals along all four sides where it mates with the top of the pickup box and no issues with the hinges. However I took car to align it carefully when I installed it and have had not a drop of water from those edges or seams even after driving in torrential rain or after washing with a pressure washer (though I never pointed the PW directly at the edges). One of the principal reasons I bought it is security - the rear section of the cover is secured to the truck rail system with spring loaded handles that prevent someone using a coat hanger from breaking into the truck bed.

Most, if not all of the popular makers of tonneau cover makers are owned by Truck Hero Company which sets pricing across all the brands it owns. There are promotions and/or rebates offered regularly that you can take advantage of if you are patient. However, as of end of the year last year, similar covers from the various Truck Hero cover makers were similarly priced. The differences from one company to another are style of cover, sealing and method of securing to the truck.

( I have no connection with any of these companies.) Good luck with the choice.

I have a Extang trifold soft cover. My 2008 tacoma had one,I liked it so much I put one on the Tundra right after I got it.I feel they are one of the better covers out there. Always a sale. Seals good,no water problem.

Agreed. The Extang tri-folds are my favorite tri-fold. I personally prefer the roll up tonneau covers though.
