Recently just got a new Tundra. Looking to do a few upgrades and wanting to replace the front bumper soon. Had the Ranchhand brush guard on an F150 and it wasnt as sturdy as I had wanted. After some searching I've decided on the Ranchhand Summit. I did some looking on the forum and haven't seem anyone else post about this specific bumper. Questions: would the TSS still work if I trimmed the mesh a little bit (or just remove center mesh)? Anyone else have any knowledge/advice on this bumper? I'm planning on doing a level kit as well because from what I've read the truck will sag another 1/2 inch lower in the front. This is the bumper ...

So I found a little more information on this bumper. Seems like I would probably just cut out the entire middle mesh portion like the photo attached below. Maybe, RanchHand can do this if I call when I order it ? Also, I don't have proximity sensors but it doesn't seem like it would be too difficulty to drill some holes in the bumper and install them (that's what they did in the YouTube video attached below).

I had a Ranch Hand summit on my 2014, and I had no issues with it. It was very sturdy.

I've seen some 2018+ Tundra's on Instagram that have the bumper or brushguard and the whole middle section is open for the TSS radar to work. Not sure if it comes that way from Ranch Hand or if it's modified, but I'd call Ranch Hand and see what they say.

Thanks Midmo-tundra. That's a sweet looking rig. Hoping to get one ordered soon

I have the Ranch Hand brush guard on my 2020. No problems with the sensor at all.

The 2020 has a Ranch Hand front brushguard/bumper
@BobHuck were you happy with the final result on the Summit?
Did the truck droop a lot?
Did you get the adaptive cruise control to work, with a custom opening?
I just posted a question then found your post.
    Thanks
