stage one of cooling system overhaul is starting. Tru cool 40k cooler is coming and im going to figure out how its getting mounted, bend up the lines and get it ready for the mishimoto radiator and 160 degree transmission t-stat. radiator may or may not happen this month. we'll see how im feeling

i plan on running quick connects for the cooler. So lines will be flared to take fuel line quick connects like our trucks stock fuel lines. should make removing the cooler easier... and its cleaner looking than hose clamps

Or i might just say screw it and do -AN fittings and make it look like a damn race car!

I've been trying to not watch the news over the last week or so. Well I turned it in on this morning.
    WTF
People please be safe, try and avoid being out. The temperature appears to getting worse and I'm not talking mother nature.

My new spray nozzle experiment was a fail. The 90° bend simply sticks out too far with the hose, and elbow attached. Ended up kinking the hose anyway.
    20200707_062006.jpg

The new nozzles did provide a nice fan blade at maybe a 10 or 15 ° angle up from aperture on nozzle. Without notching the hood hole in the light blue manner it will not work.
    20200707_062045.jpg

I tried trimming the barb on the new nozzle, and the barb on the 90° fitting. Still no go.

Can you drill a new hole (red dot) with that sweet new unibit of yours? Feed the hose up through and attach? Might need a hole grommet to keep the hose from chaffing.

I think before I modified the hood I'd look for a different nozzle. From some quick looking around it looks likes they all use about the same size mounting hole. Something like these.

My prior Toyota did. Still could park/hitch it, although I did use the bump and go method.

That truck even came with an 80’s style Puerto Rican Rear View Mirror (the kind that spans the entire cab width). I took the little dangling balls off the mirror after purchase.

Just heard we had a neighborhood gas siphon thief come through the other night down the street. Pretty bad to have to do this when when gas is so cheap at $1.89 currently.

The clouds have been on the horizon and heading our way for years. Most sub 30 year olds have the same response these days when I ask them face to face how they are doing. They start in like lemmings with current events and... (insert things I am not allowed to say here). I’ve been taking temperatures for a long time. Where we are now is past point of no return. Guns won’t save us from whats already happened (via subversion) although they are a great thing to own while we still have the right.

What's the one man bleeder y'all like? I need to bleed again but don't wanna have anyone suffer out there with me. I tried looking at the bottom, and y'all know how the search is here. One I could pick up local would be preferable? And how do you adjust the rear through the little hole?

I wanted a DVR to record but I found this rear view mirror to be a better fit for what the misses needs to feel a bit more comfortable with driving and parking the truck. Truth is I'm the 1 not feeling comfy, her car has a camera and front & rear parking sensors. She still managed to back into someone. :angrygirl:Screenshot_20200707-141117.jpg

Why do they even bother making a service manual for a 2000 Corolla? Those little things are the literal equivalent of the Energizer Bunny, they just keep going

Other than burning oil, our 02 Corolla seemed unstoppable. It was like a little go-cart with no ABS. I can't tell you how many times I locked up all 4 tires. That car had 9 lives.

I worked at a dealership for a little while, used car dept. Whenever we got 1 of these Corollas in with a ton of miles, I would stash it deep in the back lot and waited. This is gonna sound bad but.... Whenever 1 of the island guys showed up and all sales people would scatter, I just smile cha-ching. Never failed. "I have exactly what you are looking for right over here"

Fine "Chinet" dining. I miss Mamaw's breakfast.

I was 6. I would go over to the grandparents to stay the night some times. The next morning mamaw would cook a breakfast for the 3 of us. We would sit down at the dinner table, and Papaw would pray. Mamaw would always tap my hand, I would look at her, she would wink at me and then take a bite of food off her plate and flash that grandma smile everyone loves.

Papaw would finish praying, and then we would dig in.

    I miss her.

    Good stuff right there.
I remember coming home late at night and my grandma would wake up. Pot of coffee on the stove and we would sit there for hours. She would tell me stories about Cuba and her childhood.
This is what we have to do for the generations that follow. Good stuff bro

Legitimate niceness! @lsaami opened the box, and saw three 10 mm bolts on top of the stuffing paper, and thought " WTF?"

Opened the stuffing paper, and saw the trans cooler. "OH!"
