Yeah, didn’t NEED it, bad time to buy, & the rest. A fairly local Dunham’s had the base model with the external safety in stock for $499. I had looked them over a time or two the last year. This looks like fresh stock, any bugs should be worked out. I kinda wanted the safety too, not that I don’t use others without.

Background checks are backed up, should come through today or tomorrow at the latest. After that it will be testing & holster time. I may add a few 12 round, maybe 15 round magazines.

This is why I love living in Texas. No waiting time. If you have your CCW, you walk in full out the 4473 pay and walk out. It's beautiful.

I got one last fall with the integrated site. It's a super nice little concealed carry piece. You'll like it a lot.

I got my p365 2 months ago. Absolutely love it and great carry gun. $499 is fair price and in line with anywhere. Even without all the craziness, you wouldn't find it any cheaper. It is the number one selling gun for the last year and there is a reason for that.

I put 150 rounds through mine yesterday. I love it for its size. The 12 round magazine makes it perfect in my hand.

I rented a Springfield Hellcat yesterday as that is about the only true competition. It was decent but the p365 is for sure a step above only in my opinion. The Hellcat has a fair amount more kick to it and just not as smooth overall. My wife absolutely hated the Hellcat but she can stand to shoot my Sig.

Shot it yesterday, went fine. I shot some 115 grain reloads then factory FMJ rounds. Not complaining but the mag springs are kinda stiff.

I got a few 15 round magazines from Joe Bob Outfitters in KS, great to deal with.

Speaking of mags, I was in Smoky Mountain Guns & Ammo a few weeks ago and they had the ProMag 12-round magazines for $16. I figured what the heck, if they don't work I will throw them away. I have about 100 rounds through them with zero hiccups.

Funny thing is one of the factory 10-round magazines that came with the gun is jamming and stove pipes. Called Sig and they sent me a 12 round replacement for free.

Had the exact same thing happen with my p238 magazine and Sig went another one of those also.

I know aftermarket magazines are not always popular, but the Pro mags have been fine in the p365.

The 12 rounder is my favorite magazine. It feels the best and can fit my whole hand on the grip with it. I have really large hands so I like it so my pinkie finger is not off the gun.

Glad to hear the good review. I’m trying to pick one of these up but they are pretty tough to find at the moment. :hattip:

That pistol fits my hand like no other, and the wife enjoys shooting it as it doesn't have "that fat Glock handle" she doesn't care for. I hadn't looked at them since the initial release, and now they have several versions including one with a safety.

I have the NRA Edition. It is my EDC gun. I gave up my 40/357Sig Shield for this gun. Double stack, the same size as a G43 and comfortable to shoot. I do not foresee this gun being replaced as my EDC.

People are shooting their 9mm? I’m just dry firing until 2021 and staring at my 9mm rounds like each one is my own child. 40-50 cents a round if you can even find it. I’m trying to instal a little flag that says BANG when you pull the trigger. That will save money big time.

I like the concept of the 365 but I just had issues with how it feels in the hand compared to my 26. I like the fat Glock handle.

I have 1300 rnds of 9 at home so I could probably get away with shooting it once per month buying replacement boxes at the range every other trip or so through the end of the year. Most range near me are holding everything back for range customers and gun buyers so they’re able to release at least a box or two of the most common calibers to you if you pay for range time.

Probably won’t use it every range trip though. This week’s trip probably 150 rounds total to break in my Kimber 1911 and double check the Gunsmith’s work on my colt. May do more rifle and 45 the next couple trips after that or play with my S&W 29 which barely ever gets shot.

It might be 2-3 months shooting other stuff before I burn through 9mm again.

I can’t go without shooting at all until 2021 unless I see everything completely disappear. 1-2 monthly trips spread among 3 calibers seems like a compromise that won’t kill my stash. The wife assists my ammo rationing efforts by filling up my weekend calendar and making it as hard as possible for me to get to the range.

I have been shooting the heck out of Ruger SR22. Also bought a Ruger Wrangler. I have about 2500 9mm rounds but have been shooting them sparingly.

Most expensive ammo I have bought has been directly from Sig. Their Elite 115gr. Is .31 per round delivered when you buy 10 or more boxes.

I have bought a ton from Bass Pro and Academy Sports for .22 to .26 per round in the last month. Academy if you get there right before they open and wait in line, they put out ammo daily. Limit to 3 boxes now but price has not really gone up.

I bought 10 boxes from Bass Pro a couple weeks ago for $10.99 per box for Federal Premium 115gr.

The online retailers on ammoseek and what not have gotten ridiculous. I have been able to get 3,000 rounds in the past 3 months and not paid over the .31per round. It is tough, but it is out therw!!!

I've been using the SAS model as my EDC for the past 3 months. I really like the size and weight for concealed carry. I'm still getting used to the bullseye sight. I'll see if I like the sight with time. With the ammo shortage since purchase, I only have 150 rounds through it thus far. I've been watching for more 9mm, but when I can find it, the cost is just off the charts. I digress.... No issues with the gun though, and accuracy at ~10 yards about the same for me as my trusty P228 and SP2022. Agree with above about the magazines being stiff to load. I have the two 10 rounders that came with the gun, and a 12 round Sig mag. I can load the first 5-6 rounds ok, but the last several rounds get fiddly and painful. Thank goodness for the Maglula. Thus far, very impressed with this little gun.

Question for the group: What holster are you using? I'm using a kydex IWB that I carry at 4 o'clock. Looking for something to increase comfort against my bony frame. Maybe a leather/kydex hybrid? Also have the Vedder for pocket carry. Works well in even a light jacket.

I have the Tenicor when my pistol was stock very comfortable imho, but when i added the light and red dot, i ended up getting the slim fit holster ultra, a little bulkier with the light .

The holster you have is better suited as appendix or 5 o clock positions. Check out Alien Gear holsters if you’re wanting to carry at the 3 or 4 o clock position.
