Has anyone used 1" spacers on the rear end? My studs are sticking out ever so slightly. I'm putting them on to ease alignment issues. I'm thinking I'll grind out the wheels since that small modification doesn't appear structural.

That is why the correct spacers for Tundras are 1.25" because of the stud length. Me personally I would not grind the wheels or the studs.

Don't you have recessed areas on the back of your wheels already. Most wheels, including the OEM wheels have little recessed areas which would allow for longer studs.

Ignore the arrow on the photo. See recessed areas between bolt pattern.

Because the rear axle of the Tundras are offset towards the passenger side, for whatever reason that nobody can explain, I have been thinking of using a 1" spacer on the passenger side and a 1.25" on the driver side to even it out a little closer. My OEM wheels will allow the 1" spacer to be used because the mounting surface has the recessed areas as in the photo above.

I've got 1" spacers all around on mine. Works fine with OEM TRD Off Road wheels, and like @Boerseun said, should work with any wheel that has knockouts on the back.

I have 1" spacers up front without issue. Agreed on the stud front. However for the wheels there are already pockets there which clear 90% of the studs already but would only need a little extra material removed to clear. It seems reasonable.

I have pockets but they don't clear all of the stud. I would need to open them up slightly.

If you have to do something, since it is minimal, I would cut the studs rather than bore/grind out the wheels. Studs are easy to replace if for whatever reason you want to do that later.

That seems like the harder path since I would have to clean up threads.

Just curious, how do spacers "ease alignment issues" ?

When I had it aligned the guy told me he had to remove the spacers to mount it into their machine because they weren't at the same width. I had planned to put on the rear spacers so I didn't push back much on the comment.

Got around to finishing this over the weekend. All it took was a minimal amount of material removal. You can see in the one picture how little contact there really was. It was nice opportunity to clean the wheels inside and out.

Surprisingly minimal. Any issues with vibrations after install? Also nice Mac impact, didn't know you could run the Flexvolt batteries on those, pretty neat.

Right it didn't take much. I was on the highway this morning without issue or any noticed vibration.

Mac tools is owned by Stanley Black and Decker as well. Mac uses more a chemically resistant plastic and overmold but same interface.
