XPEL headlight film is now on. He looked up the computer file for the headlight schematic and cut the film...Cost was $59 for both lights and it took him 20 minutes. He used a carbon tipped trimming blade as well. No way I could have done this myself that efficiently at that cost...Well worth it.

I got this done over the weekend. I'm completely happy with the result. The harness arrived in about 6 weeks, but was worth the wait. The only hiccup I had was that the ECU had to re-learn some settings once I reconnected the battery. The truck wouldn't idle until I ran it with the RPMs between 1000 and 2000 for about 10 minutes. Once it remembered how to be a truck, I was back in business.

Anyhow, I can't help but feel like I have a new truck but without the car payment. Many thanks Mike!

Hi all, I am new to the forum but sure happy I found this thread. I am waiting on the hood brakes and then I will have this mode done too.
Not LED lights yet though. Waiting on those.
I have question, how did you all deal with he gap at the bottom? Is it a big deal, how wide is it? Should I worry about it?
In the pictures it kind of hard to notice if it will be too unsightly.

    Thank you all.

I had an issue with a connection that somehow came loose (long story). Anyhow my DRL’s flickered and now they seem dimmer to me. Do these look like they are in the low setting? 170B9B37-8042-4F3E-BE2D-E78A0270520F.jpg

Maybe it's just the picture, but it looks as though the top led strip on one side isn't even on.

So after reading about 10 pages of this thread, I dont think anyone ever mentioned this. Question... can you do the Grille without doing the headlights as well? Where do you guys order the grille from? Toyota? or is there a reputable aftermarket supply for these? What year Sequoias work on 2nd Gen Tundras? I have noticed other grilles being used as well, not just the Sequoia one, any links to other options?
