Going back on with the RB brackets. If I had a do-over... I would have drilled out a socket hole in the white location.
    20200704_134154.jpg
Will have to modify a wrench for the middle brackets.

I just realized that except for the engine/transmission internals there is literally no place on this truck that has not had my eyes, or hands.

Thought about taking my light blue paint pen, and painting the KO2 on the tires.

Don’t waste your time. Theyll be dirty in a couple miles: get a good wheel cleaner and scrub the letters back to white

Holy shit. I don't know if this seems more time consuming than the pass sode because I already had some done from yesterday, or if it really is more time consuming.

Using an interior trim tool to get the tape BEHIND the wheel well trim. This technique didn't really work out on the side moldings.

I’m Thinking a 40k trans cooler for the tundra with the Mishimoto radiator. (Maybe a 30k... probably the 30k.. a lot cheaper). Should cool the trans well when towing and the radiator should never be an issue... total cost will be high at around $650... BUT it would be a small price to pay to ensure transmission and engine health when towing vehicles around.

I do also still plan on doing a sonnax HD valve body in the trans to firm up shifts a little bit.

My exterior door handle on the drivers side was loose. Went ahead, and tightened it up. Did this too. My instal isn't as clean as @Professional Hand Model . It works.

I think i messed up the routing for the hood latch cable when I took my kick panel off last time. Is the cable supposed to BEHIND the parking brakelever?

Just curious. Why would one want a firmer shift?

Slip wears the clutches. I’m not talking something horribly hard. But something slightly more firm than original. Over time the shifts get sluggish anyway on these transmissions because of valve body erosion

your tranny will be nice and cool with that. The only time mine ever has gotten remotely hot (with the stock cooler) is backing the trailer after a hard tow.

Here is my agenda for tomorrow.

    Change oil.
Give all fluid levels a once over.
Sand the small surface rust spots in the bed, and paint. Install plastic bed liner.

Go to bed. I realized I will have no Day fishing time as I will need to sleep because Monday I am reporting to work bright, and early at 6 P.M. Local time.

Measured things out and The 40k will fit.. found it for sale at 150 bucks... nice thing is it uses 3/8” inverted flare to attach the trans lines. So I can bend up custom nubs to run the trans cooler hoses to the stock location.

Investiated the Sequoia rear view mount. Located set screw in the middle of the mount.

    Here's mine.20200704_232048.jpg
No set screw. What gives? The replacement windshield the culprit?

Also, I stopped for a minute before cranking truck over. The dash indicator lights that let you know the bulbs work.

The only ones that were on for me were the battery light, and CEL. Shouldn't there also be an oil light?

It might be an aftermarket mirror. Not sure. Doesn’t even look like the Toyota style with the tab

Strange. I SWEAR this is the same one that has always been installed. Then again, I never looked at the mount before new windshield. Everything still feels the same during movement of rearview.

poked around with the flashlight to gleam into the places in dash I have, but do not have lights for.

Windshield washer fluid. That one has never worked ever, so I'm assuming I don't have the float sensor for it.

ABS light. Don't think I have ABS as I do not have the sensors on rear axle that @Professional Hand Model removes for investigation. Think those are the critter.

The airbag light? To the left of windshield washer light?

    4WD/4LO LOL

Low fuel light does indeed work as I ran her almost empty to test that one.

The two lights to the right of the CEL i can't quite make out what they say. I think one says ATF or ATP?

I think the other says AT oil temp?
