So I really need more storage. I need to get my shit out of the cab, and safely locked in the bed. My tygre soft cover is not secure, and it's black.

Why are all tonneau covers black?
Black just cooks everything in the bed in the summer. I live where we have all seasons, summer is hot. I bought a white truck for a reason, heat. I have a black 4runner, I know what damage is done to them in the summer heat, it's bad, never again for me.

I guess black color matches with everything but.... No other colors, really?

Anyway, I know they make white clam shell tonneau covers, but I need the utility of a hard folding cover.

I tried googling but no luck really.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Some company has to be smart enough to make white tonneau covers when everyone makes black.

Please point me in the right direction if you know of some.

    Thanks!

Reason: Mass Production and Cost Reduction.

Same reason I yet to see a color-matched sprayed on bed liner.

Just get a trifold cover like BakFlip or better yet a DiamondBack cover and take it to a paint shop and have them color match it.

    Thanks for the reply.

I understand production costs, but they spend money to paint everything black, can't be that much difference, plus I would pay reasonable prices for color options.

Color matched spray in bed liners, I had not though of this one, good pull! They should easily come in colors, it's liquid for crying out loud lol.

However, black hides work abuse in a bed, so that kinda makes some sense.

Can a bakflip g2, or diamond back (way to expensive) be safely painted and still function properly, and will the paint last? Has anyone done this and have any recommendations how to go about it?

Thanks again for ideas. Painting is an option, if the products can take it?

I know Peragon can make their covers in any color and will even price match, but I wouldn't recommend buying their product.
Could you paint a hard trifold cover to white? If you want insulation, couldn't you put some insulation sheeting on the underside?

Thanks I didn't see this one.

That's close to what I'm looking for.
Don't know how secure it is, and does not mention security. Also if it can support any weight at all.

Something to consider none the less, Thank you!

Yea that's not bad, minus the box. I want something inside like bakflip offers.

    Thanks!

Saw something at my cap dealer that come painted in various color looked pretty nice. Can't remember who it was made by but it was definitely one of the known brand names in the business.

Yea I saw that brand. Very pricey and panels look weak. Does not seem too secure, and can not hold any weight.

    Otherwise they look really nice!

Really that bakflip g2 in white is exactly what I wish I could get. Has anyone successfully had one painted or dipped or coated in other colors?

No need for insulation, I'm just after a white or even silver color that is secure and can hold some weight, as those 2 things go hand in hand really. Don't want my expensive airpump and tools stolen.

The UnderCover Elite LX can be painted to match the body color but it is pricey.
