    I was looking into these brackets but looks like the air deflectors behind the grill have to be permanently removed. Will this have a negative effect on the truck or severe wind noise?

    Just mod them like I did on my bro truck. I basically cut a slot to accommodate the bracket.

    There should be any noticeable difference on it.

    Anyone been running the Caliraised light bar brackets? Especially in dirty/dusty/sandy environments? I just installed one 42'' curved light bar using the cali raised brackets. When the passenger side air deflector is removed it really opens up oil dipstick area. Does anyone have pictures of how they managed to modify the air deflectors to remain installed? I am leaning towards removing the brackets and using side mounts instead - this way I can keep the air deflectors installed.

    Cali Raised Brackets without air deflectors. They are well made brackets. Not sure its the best mounting option for a single light bar.

    Standard light bar side mounts with air deflectors.

    After installing the 42” curved light bar using side mounts I switched back to the Cali raised brackets. The cross member is flimsier on my 2020 than it was on my 2015. I trimmed the stock air deflectors to fit with the brackets. No more open air flow to the oil dip stick or battery.

    Here are the brackets with trimmed air deflectors.

    Any details on how you did this?

    @LA184,

    I trimmed the air deflectors using kitchen scissors. Using a set of metal snips would probably work best. I trimmed off pieces gradually as I test fitted the deflectors. The passenger side deflector is the trickiest - due to the hard lines and hoses in the way. Once you get the deflectors trimmed correctly they will fall into place and clip in very easily.

    Thanks! Do you have the space to install 2 light bars or just one?

    You do have space to mount two bars - the light output from one of them might be terrible depending on the bar model /trim grill. You will probably have get creative with different bar models OR swap your grill out. The light output is terrible from the top and middle setting for my 2020 limited grill. On my 2015 SR5 (see above) the standard side mounts worked perfectly for one bar to shine through the lower large grill slit. On the 2015 SR5 grill I think two bars on the Caliraised LED bracket using the top and lower settings could have yielded good light throw from both the top and bottom setting.

    Based on your profile pic you will probably get the best performance from one bar.

    My setup
    • I mounted two 7'' round lights in between the top and middle settings - I drilled new holes. (output is usable and effective. mostly just looks cool....I would not do this again)
    • On the lower pre-drilled holes I mounted the curved 42'' light bar. (works extremely well)

    I did the same but use my dremel with cutoff wheel.
