    Usually we're at the lake for Canada Day. And there are usually good fireworks out there. But we've been getting a ludicrous amount of rain this year.

    One of our kids made a Red Velvet Cake today, topping it with cream cheese frosting and red sugar in Maple leaf patterns.

    Grilling $70 worth of rib steaks for supper. :thumbsup:

    When my wife brought the steaks home, the butcher paper label showed everything, but the price was scratched off with a finger nail. When I asked, her and the kids starter laughing. I said "how much?"...to which they laughed some more.

    They know I'm a cheapo.
