Finally! It's been more than 14 months of problems and delays but the truck, is finally feeling proper. First step was having Al's unibody in Phoenix pull the coil buckets back to where they belong. Then to @KyleGreenFabrication for his coil bucket brace. Kyle also installed solid engine mounts from @Bonzen and 3" leaf packs from Deaver springs. The front leaf hangers and shackles are custom fab work by Kyle. All his sh#? is tig welded and looks fantastic, not sure my truck is worthy but :notsure:.
After a quick test session in the N. Rim Grand Canyon area I'm finally ready to start valving/ tuning the shocks. Lotta great people on that trip and none of this woulda happened if not for @Vizsla
Now I just need to fix the A/C condenser line that cracked and clean .5" of dust off everything in the interior. Oh, and a new front bumper is necessary and coming soon. Wish I could have Kyle do it but Gilbert's a pretty long drive.coil bucket brace.jpg V420.jpg

Jealous that you have access to Al's Unibody. Shops like his are hard to find these days. I have an FJ60 with a bent frame and can't find anyone in Charlotte to fix it. Should have had it done by Al when I still lived in Phoenix.

Yeah, Al was amazing and glad I went to him but it was a +/- 12hr drive to his shop. @Vizsla went there first and it was his review that led me to go there.

Thanks @Porschetech29 for the idea. Finally added an extension and coupler to the mic cable.

Saturday night there was an incredible lightning show like nothing I've ever seen. It was caused by an ejection from the hurricane off of Baja. This is the leading edge, it's an Arcus Roll cloud with the lightening hot on it's heels.[IMG]
The lightening sparked 22 separate fires in Santa Cruz and San Mateo counties. Difficult terrain and lack of resources mean that a lot of these fires are not being managed and have 0% containment. The lightening was really cool. The smoke
    not so much

Wow! That’s impressive and probably a bit scary. Hoping for containment soon. :bananadead::annoyed:

Also... an Arcus roll... mmmmn, with wasabi, one of my favorites!

Thanks Shane! We're not in any danger yet, the closest fire is still 10-12 mi away with a HWY 17 between us.

Yup, I’m with these guys (my lame gallows humour aside): be packed and ready just in case, and get a plan with neighbors to alert each other in event someone learns of a change in circumstances (and evac’ any oldster neighbors that may need help). Our fires down here, in 2003 and 2007, were crazy for how fast they spread. Interstate 8 was a wall of flames, fire crossed in < 2 mins.

I told my wife and 2 daughters to pack a bag just in case, don't wanna get them scared, but do want them prepared.
