Hello all. I have a 1794 Edition that the previous owner scrapped the housing of the Drivers side mirror. It’s not bad but my OCD notices it daily. I was going to replace the chrome caps anyways but I found a set of mirrors for about the price of the caps that came off a 2020 with 100 miles (perfect condition) that are color matched to my truck. The mirrors are off an SR5 so it does not have the power folding, BSM, and turn signal indicator. I want to keep all those bells and whistles just in a new housing. Is this possible? Or do I have to get the OEM mirrors for my trim level?

So are your scratches on the chrome caps or the black trim below?

Then no, the caps would solve the chrome issue, but the housing itself from the SR5 won’t have the cutout on the bottom for the puddle lamp. I did a mirror swap last month and ended up with extra parts. I’ll check my parts box, I might have what you’re looking for

Thanks!! I forgot all about the Puddle lights!! The OEM bulb is so dim that I don’t even really notice it anymore. I was hopeful that the whole assembly came apart and I could interchange parts.

It would be a perfect swap if you have a unscratched donor mirror with the cut out. I have one, just unsure of its condition
