If you could give a report and some pics of your Lecia rangefinder I would greatly appreciate it.

I haven’t used it much yet but can say the clarity is amazing especially when comparing to the Vortex 1800 Ranger? Linton sold me on this over the Vortex and I couldn’t pass it up.

Just wrapped up my elk season here in Montana this morning. Really can't say enough good stuff about Kuiu and Kenetrek. I was hesitant to spend the money at first, but now I'm glad I did. Also get a good set of knives with disposable blades. So convenient when it comes to processing an animal. Also some some talc powder in a small bottle for indicating wind, it really helps.

Filled my tag on the first day actually. Posted pics in the hunting thread.

Pack is quality but only packed it pretty light due to the type of area and hunt style involved with antelope. True test will be my mule deer hunt in October.

Bumping this up. I was fortunate enough to draw a very good unit for mule deer for the late season in November. I ended up picking this up, Tikka T3X Lite stainless 30.06 and added a Zeiss Conquest 3-12x-44 scope.

I didn't get any of my lottery tags, so I picked up a late season either sex tag for A32. Also have AO tag for early archery and general season. So it'll just be the bow this year.

I like to use sitka gear 308 rifle but I always hire a guide bc I can’t do elk alone too damn big to drag by myself. Love bugling them in during the rut and hearing them answer. Elk hunting is like no other. Happy hunting to you. :proposetoast:
Oh and can’t forgot how tasty those elk back straps are!
